    People seem to either like the looks or hate it. I personally like it but those that don't are seem to be 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 vocal... Then again lots of people like to hate on the Prius name.
    I like it because I think it looks different. Eye-catching (for better or worse) and not the same basic shape of almost every vehicle similar in size.
    Either way this is one of the best and most unbiased reviews of the Prime I have seen!

      Joe Young, I've never seen as much hate for a car as this new Prius and Prime. Most people don't go and proclaim their dislike for something... they just stick to the things they do like. So I'm beginning to believe there is some ulterior motives at play here.

      The Sheeps follow and cry with the herd. I'm anything but a fan of the Prius liftback design, but I think the Prime looks a heck a lot better. It is shaped by aerodynamics & there is a harmony here in some other blocky heavy-handed designs used by other makes.
      The amount of hate is really down to the Prius name. I quote another YT review: "In the 21st century, it is more socially acceptable to be caught sucking off another man's thing than to be driving a Toyota Prius." While this is completely satirical, it is not far from the truth; people love to loathe the Prius.

    The rear end sort reminds me of the original Batmobile :)

    Would you drive this Prius to Colorado and back

    you need to actually put a 6-foot guy in the back seat to test it because a 3-inch taller person than you might be taller by having longer legs and not much longer torso so they'll still have the headroom - just saying it seems like an assumption. Or maybe it doesn't matter either way? Seems like a good review though.

    Oh man, Toyota and Nissan are making such ghastly looking cars these days, over bloated and over styled. Even Honda is falling into this trap. Other than the 86 coupe, I can not think of a single car Toyota makes that looks remotely attractive.

    How are you just gonna ding a whole star bc of the bad seat heater switch placement? Makes literal no sense. Are you only looking at 5 things ergonomically? NO you are looking at like 40+ things so why does 1 of those 40 things deserve an entire star removed? Also people's extra height isnt only waist up bro, most of it goes go their legs so your extra high analysis for taller 6 foot people is silly at best. Especially since there have been 6 ft tall reviews of this car and even they say there is plenty of headroom. Seriously need to do a number system and make it out of 10 not 5, gives more detailed info, this is just sloppy

    Good review of a ghastly ugly car. Makes me feel ill just to look at it. Toyota needs to fire its designers and hire Hyundai designers. I truly think Korea has overtaken Japan when it comes to both television and automobile design.

    • @mountainhobo
      @mountainhobo 7 лет назад +1

      That's because Koreans hired the designer from Audi, Peter Schreyer, to take over the design of both Kia and Hyundai. That was a very good move.

    • @BanBiofuels
      @BanBiofuels 7 лет назад +1

      That is my point exactly. Why pay $30,000 plus for an ugly Prius Prime when you can buy a much nicer, well designed Hyundai Elantra for only $16,000 and keep $14,000 or more in the bank to buy gasoline. The Prius makes no economic or artistic sense, and the brakes are horrible.

      While I agree in principle (and I like Kia having owned both Kia and Hyundai in the past), one thing that Prius has going for it is amazing resale value. On the other hand, I believe you can still get a stick in Elantra and the Kia equivalent, can't you?
