We walked by this while walking to kings cross station, i wasn't aware that was an actual hotel! Beautiful! Just showed my husband, we are gonna have to check it out 😃❤️
Awesome hotel! I stayed there in 2013. Agree with all of your comments. Very expensive, but having the immediate access to Eurostar and the tube make getting around (or over to Paris) so easy. I'd also add, the staff at the hotel was amazing. They treated my daughter like a princess.
Great video, I Was in London every weekend for 3 years from up in northwest Scotland then lived there in North West London for a short while until the end of 2018, I have seen probably 30% of the things to see in London, have been to a lot of places there and seen a lot of locations and famous buildings, did a lot of shows, entertainment and museums etc..
Hi Chris. Nice balance of old and new.Nice a basic room. Very good looking breakfast.Almost forgot, nice moves on the staircase. Take care and have a great weekend.
Lovely review of the hotel . A few years ago I got a private tour of the hotel loved every min of it inc the private flats 😍 I’ve never seen a marble bathroom like that before.
Great review, this hotel looks amazing, beautiful historic decor, love the location, the different places for meals, tea & breakfast look very impressive. Thanks Chris !
As a former waiter at this place i wouldn't recommend to anyone, the quality of the products serve are very cheap but you are charge top money, i remember serving Escargot from Tin Cans, the standards of the food are very poor. There are rodents at the Restaurant areas, during night service you would be able to see few running around the corners or quiet spaces at the Restaurant but at the end of service you wouldn't be able to keep count. At the bar is the same, using left over of champagne to do syrups for cocktails or merging left over from a bottles to other bottles to have a full one . If you ever visit this place do not pay the service charge , ask to be remove and give it in cash to your server, the company miss guide the good will of costumers, using the service charge to pay people that ain't at the floor as the finance department take a good cut of the service charge.
That looks like a nice hotel! I do like how it is very close to the Tube. I probably wouldn't stay there unless I used Marriott points. I gotta keep earning those points! Awesome review!
It was my dream to stay here for my honeymoon (I am a Spice Girls obsessive fan and we all know those stairs were in Wannabe) but its way too expensive. I will be going there though to get some photos at the very least.
Hi guys!!! It is possible to take some photos at the stairs, just like a tourist??? (I'm spice girls fan too lol) Cheers from Chile!!! And sorry my english 🇨🇱
I have a very important question and I hope you'll answer it😭 I'm going to London from the first January until the 5th. My question is if there still will be any Christmas lights and decorations in the first week of January?
Is this the best hotel in London? I’m thinking about doing the train to Paris and staying in this hotel would be super convenient; however I also like luxury.
Long time no talk, nice video. Americans are right, we must give appreciation to other countries too, thanks for your inspiration.👍🏻👍🏻😁🇺🇸( That's the reason i love japan, i understand right now, i could give appreciation to japan. because i learn from you, thank you so much americans.)
@@YellowProductions Well at least you took time to answer. A review on Booking, com says they do have them so it's worth investigating. I did enjoy your video.
Getting my gear stolen is one of my biggest fears. I'm actually travelling to London in a couple months and hearing that makes me feel a bit paranoid about my stuff.
I've been to London multiple times and never got anything stolen, but if you are paranoid just sit inside at restaurants, also avoid beggars and the homeless for obvious reasons, play common sense dont do anything dumb, and ALWAYS keep you bags/handbags closed. Also if you are staying in the centre of London around piccadilly/Russel square/ euston it is quite chill and safe. Also dont ever go to change currencies stores because they just steal your money, I know this comment turned into a street safety lesson but hopefully you feel more confident about travelling to london :)
@@nutcake9227 Thanks! Really appreciate the tips. I usually change currency by withdrawing money at airport ATMs since I usually get a better rate. Hopefully that's an option in London too. Thanks again!
So sad to be watching this and realizing that this is the trip that topher was stolen. So sorry. How did you feel your Marriott elite benefits were recognized? Looking back, would you stay here again if you were to go back to London?
Yeah.. sad trip... but we enjoyed this hotel and would stay again... I don't think my elite benefits were recognized in the form of a room upgrade... I think our room was what we booked... but the free full breakfast buffet was really good
Hi really love your review as you explain everything very well and show us everything very well. Keep the work up. I also do hotel reviews so check my videos out if you wish.
You have a raw crumpet on that plate. That is so very, very weird. Did you offend a waiter? That should be toasted twice and served with lashings of butter. But you got a cheap brand straight out of the packet. That thing is completely horrific. I'm sorry!!

I was hoping you'd show whether they have wet rooms. I need a walk-in shower preferably with shower chair. Any good?
I only had the one room.. so not sure

There is a premier inn opposite of this hotel
there's also a hostel next to that hotel
Who takes a taxi from London Heathrow Airport to central London? A crazy person.
Or a lazy person with lots of luggage :)
Handsome guy!
