鹿角市の文化財を紹介します。第76回声良鶏謡合（うたあわせ）大会です。

令和3年6月6日（日曜日）に行われました、第76回天然記念物全日本声良鶏謡合大会の様子を撮影しました。
声良鶏とは（鹿角市の文化財より抜粋）
高知の東天紅、新潟の唐丸とともに日本三長鳴鶏と称される。
鹿角が原産地とされるが、現在秋田、岩手、青森の各県で広く飼育されている。
古くからの地鶏に軍鶏などを交配して作出されたといわれ、体重は雄約5.0キログラム、雌約3.5～4.5キログラム、三枚冠、赤色短小の耳朶、黄色の嘴と脚等が特徴である。
雄では咽喉部が袋状に垂れ、頸部は長大で肩幅広く、脚は太く長く、頸・腰・尾の羽は豊かで美しい。羽の色は白柏・黒柏・赤柏等があるが、白柏系のものが普及している。
その鳴き方は、独特で、初め低音でおごそかに「国光郷王」と歌い出し、長く引きながら張り上げ、やがてしだいに調子を下げて静かに歌い終わるものである。
昭和５７年に「市の鳥」に指定されている。全日本声良鶏保存会が繁殖・保存に努めています。

In roosters, the throat hangs like a bag, the neck is long and wide shoulders, the legs are thick and long, and the wings on the neck, hips, and tail are rich and beautiful. The colors of the wings include white kashiwa, black kashiwa, and red kashiwa, but white kashiwa-based ones are widespread.
The way it squeals is unique, with a low-pitched tone that begins to sing "Cook a Go wow(means hope a Grory on a king)", then pulls it up for a long time, then gradually lowers its tone and finishes singing quietly.
