The Veronicas are just Jess and Lisa based off of the Archie comics, but their band has been with them from the beginning...like 16 years now or something. They are also incredibly sweet and care a lot for animals and the environment. They do a lot of stuff for the wildlife in Australia. I’ve been watching your channel for some time and I think it’s awesome to see them getting discovered, even if it is 16 years into their career. Hello! In this "era" (because was not only this album, there were a lot of singles with B-sides as well as other songs that appeared on the web from arround that time) they took more of a Synth pop/Rock approach, BUT while playing those songs live, they never really stopped playing like the last record. As a matter of fact, the drums played live were always acoustic, not electronic, and the guitar was even more present. With this album they really got into the US (at first touring with the Jonas Brothers -about 2007, and then solo); and around 2009 they re-released this album (Hook Me Up) for Japan and UK. Their last tour was around 2009 but after that they never really stopped composing and recording music.

Would love the Hook Me Up album as it is my favourite of the three (and the live album Revenge is sweeter than you ever where from the same era) But I guess it is whether you want to do all three albums, or if you want to do one then see how you feel. You also have some great B-Sides that don't get enough love (Insomnia, Everything, Hollywood and Don't say goodbye to name a few). God, was such a stan for them back in the day XD
You HAVE to listen to them sing “Heavily broken” live (on their sweet revenge tour in 2009 - it’s on a live album and they mention bush fires in Melbourne as that’s kinda Australia’s thing every year - but the fires were exceptionally bad this year) They are perfection with the most beautiful twin vocal harmonies. Then listen to their new 2020 song Biting my tongue. (Great production for radio/pop: It’s so good! )
Second this. Untouched and Heavily Broken are two completely different songs but they stand apart from the rest as simply their best songs. Heavily Broken is such a strong, amazing song that more people need to hear. If I could only pick two, that would be it. No question.

You’re so right about MySpace era! Lol their songs were a frequent theme on mine! Their music is very synth pop/rock but like you I’m so here for it.
