- This is another diorama build that was originally uploaded in two parts a few years ago here on RUclips. The diorama was made before I started filming my builds so I'm afraid its just a slide show and If you've seen it before then hopefully you'll enjoy watching it again. This is a build that I think I'll have to attempt again sometime as the figure painting is a bit ropey 👍

Definitly you are the best and fastest diorama maker
Excellent work. I've always wanted to try a duplication of a historic scene. This was letter perfect. I done some kit bashing of figures but the results were less than satisfactory. Also that was forty years ago and i am learning that the techniques I was using then have been overtaken by new stuff. Just getting back into scale modeling after half a life time of not touching a kit. Thanks for the video!
I’ve seen lots of folks build their version of 131, but this is the first time I’ve seen the scene of its capture recreated. Fantastic idea well executed!
It is nice to have the mix of diorama's that are both Historically inspired and those which come from your imagination with a great historical grounding.
Having visited Bovington so so many times over the last 15 years (except 2020 ) you've replicated Tiger 131 beautifully. Massive congratulations on such a beautiful build.
NOT TOO BAD FOR A SATURDAY NIGHT HISTORY A LESSON AND GREAT MODEL 👍.
Great little dio. Nice work on the base and figures. Tiger looks great
Lovely job! Interesting how the Germans went with such a subtle contrast on their desert camo, and the British went with the Caunter scheme - absolute opposite approach. I enjoyed the comparison photos with the real tank too - good work replicating the damage. Nice one! Cheers. 👍
Truly superb! First class tank, figures, and base...Inspired work! 👍👍
Fantastic build and a great eye for detail top draw stuff
Nice work, and attention to detail on the battle damage!
Very nice executed!
Beautiful video Thanks and the Tiger is easily the best looking tank from any era.
Excellent! The most famous tank in the world.
Wow 😮 excellent video loved the start the tiger looks amazing top job on the diorama stay safe my friend 👍🙏
Fate of the crew is unknown?! They abandoned their Tiger and let in fall into enemy hands, virtually intact! I think we can all guess what happened to that crew! 😉 Btw, excellent build, great attention to detail 👍
Absolutely amazing tale, i imagine the crew of both tanks were equally astounded . the accompanying pictures , clearly show , your infinite eye for detail., thank you, ATVB Scott Somerset
very nicely done, great tiger
Thanks Thomas 👍
Very nicely arranged scene with a real background. Excellent executed in every area, Ian. Greetings, Joachim
Frickin' amazing! This is not just replicating what you thought the Tiger might have looked like (as a normal modeler would) this is taking it to the deepest level! You have researched and replicated, in amazing detail, what the actual tank looked like at the time of its capture. I am amazed and very impressed. Great work! Well done! Stay safe!
I've said it before and I'll say it again I do like your Tigers Ian brilliant work as usual take care my friend 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🐑😁😂🍺
That intro got me a bit emotional tbh, amazing build! :)
beautiful !!!!!!!!
Stunning work as usual, love your dioramas, they give me ideas and motivation to produce my own, thank you

That tiger is at bovington museum England .... it Still runs perfect il seen it every year on tiger day what a machine ! If they could of produce more of these I reckon they would have won the war ..
Fantastic build and video!
Nailed it! 👍
Great work 🎉🎉
Maybe it’s too late to ask you… but if you can remember, I would like to ask you, how did you mix Tamiya paints for your model…
it would be really grateful for me
Hi, sorry but its so long ago now that I've forgotten but there are accurate colours available from other manufacturers for Gelbbraun RAL 8000 and Graugrün RAL 7008👍
I LIKE TO READ ABOUT THE STORY OF THE BATTLES IN NORTH AFRICA BETWEEN THE GERMAN AND THE BRITISH DURING WW2
MY READING BOOK ABOUT THE BATTLES IN NORTH AFRICA DURING WW2:
隆美爾非洲軍,星光出版社
A very good reproduction of the original scene. Do you hae any idea what finally happened to the tank? One of my uncles was killed in Tunisia in 43.
Which channels would you recommend for image searching? I never seem to find particularly good sites to check details etc.
The tank is at the Tank Museum in Bovington, UK👍
@@CWModelling Thanks for answering that question. I will look a bit closer next time I go there, to see if they have fully repaired the damege to the barrel etc.
If you watch the film Fury..the tiger used in it is Tiger 131
@@marklieghio6221 Yes, they borrowed it from Bovington. Aparently the only working Tiger left.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Beautiful build..can you tell me the paint mixtures you used to do the camo as I'm about to build a 131 tiger myself.
Sorry, it was built about 4 years ago and I've forgotten now......the the official colours were Gelbbraun RAL 8020 and Sandgrau RAL 7027 which a few paint manufacturers make straight from the bottle👍
did you use vinyl tracks?
Metal tracks from Fruilmodel👍
@@CWModelling I have never met anyone that liked the Vinyl ones Dragon forces on us :D btw thanks for the DAS stuff. I bought a bunch after your France video. Its great! Just what I needed.
Can you make video on Airbrushing? I would like to see your techniques. I have been out of Airbrushing for years and just found my airbrush today. .. I totally need to retrain with it.
Grüße
Looks awesome. The figure in the front looks like he’s posing for a photo.. Which is awesome because the British deffinitly took this as a piece of propaganda... They finally caught the beast.
It's the same as that photos !!!
I HAVE A TAMIYA 1/35 SCALE NORTH TIGER I TANK
