That paint scheme is what happens when you park your Pilatus in Detroit and leave it unattended! LOL from a fellow PC-12NG pilot.

Greatest Single is TBM 850/900/930.........there have been a few crashes of PC 12 due to engine failure and some are still exactly unexplained....
PC 12 nice aircraft no doubt............

Same engine family, all P&W PT6. And the TBMs (which will NOT carry a literal ton, and are cramped, I've been in both types) have killed more than a few of their owners.

That too is a broad and shaky statement, the greatest single engine aircraft of all time?? The greatest single in it's class, the greatest utility single maybe, the greatest single engine multi-role 8-10 seater yes but better than any aircraft ever built with a single engine? No not quite. I am a Pilatus lover and the PC-12 is my lifelong favorite hands down, I have a deep passion for the bird and have since I saw Pilatus' first concepts for the type, just look at my avatar and see lol, but I wouldn't say she's the best single engine aircraft ever, there is way way too much competition going back to WW2 even.

@@kriticfilms7262 which PC12 accidents have been due to engine failure?( I seem to remember the statistic that 0 Pilatus pc12s have crashed due to engine failure) your point really doesn't make sense anways because a TBM uses a PT6 also.. little bit different power and different accessories but at the core its the same design.. Also, which PC 12 crashes are unexplained? havent heard any of those yet..heard of a few pc12 accidents in which the POH was not followed and there was severe pilot error..

Not much point in a 1730 nm airplane when you only have an 850 mile bladder! PC12 may not go as fast but crossing your legs is optional!

Thats a personal preference statement and unfortunately not true, the TBM is a superb and exciting machine but you cannot compare it to the STOL, 'go anywhere, do anything' legendary PC-12, you're comparing Brad Pitt to Al Pacino man! Just go look at the numbers, load carrying capacity and ability, climb rate, take off and landing performance, slow speed performance, ruggedness, cabin volume, avionics and systems...versatility(!) shall I go on? The PC-12 trumps just about all in it's class in most respects this is why it has earned the reputation it has, not to mention being built on a lineage and heritage that commands respect around the world. Forget all that though because to say either of these new breed of purpose built aircraft are the best aircraft ever made with a single engine is absurd, better than legendary and beloved ww2 fighters? Better than the F-16 or Mustang or other types that won their fame for being superior long before either of these workhorse business types were thought up? No no no, I assure you not even the designers or manufacturers of either of these would claim that but your passion is awesome!
