Having seen the whole series I have to say that the T-SHIRT scene is one of my all time favourites; the way he remembers and this gives him hope is beautiful.

This is not true friendship. He does it to keep his friend out of trouble and avoid escalation. Defne befriended him and he later only helped her after initially stopping Defne himself when she wanted to tell the truth. He had also threatened her to intervene any time she tried to do so. Only at moments when Defne was absolutely through it did he reach out to her. Iso is a true friend. He really sticks his neck out for Defne. I would say that Sinan and Defne are very close.

She was in a difficult situation,yes!, but she chose to take the deal and lied time and time again. When she could have told the truth. Tamam Anam sakin ol kizim 😭😭😭 Omer was so unhinged and emotionally troubled thinking Defne may not ever want him back, however his whole being and every fibre of his heart and soul reignited when he saw his shirt in Defne's "special box", the box that she had instructed should be kept safe and out of everyone's reach. The way Omer was completely shell shocked but then the realization slowly dawned on him that he is still as special to Defne as he was before. He has always teased Defne flirtatiously, he is a very sensual man and he deploys every romantic tactic only for Defne. Anam you are so right. It really is such a wonderful scene and like you say it basically transforms Omer and reignites hope in Omer, now that he knows for sure that Defne still loves him. The unsure Omer disappears and the confident, flirty Omer is back full force. So much changes from this scene onwards. Can't wait for the next episode as the confident Omer continues to re-emerge. I'm expecting much swooning in the next episode here in the comments section.
I hate to say this but now he knows how it feels to see someone pursuing Defne. She put up with all his crap. Iz, Fikret. Sorry Omer but you deserve to feel how it hurts too.
I am convinced he never cheated on Defne with Iz, Yasamin or Fikret. But Defne still had to watch these woman flaunt themselves all over him. That hurt Defne. Omer with his silence too. He’s so passive.
It must hurt worse for Omar to hear that Defne was scared of him. Omar would never intentionally hurt her but to hear that must of hurt worse than being separated from her. In the past Omar was her protector and got rid of any threat to her.
Exactly that was a big blow to Omer. Also she said maybe they can be friends again, I feel like they were never actually friends, they were because they started dating then got engage etc. but I wouldn’t say they were friends, I might be wrong.
Which threats did he get rid of? He taught Sude a lesson so that she doesn’t ruin herself. He quickly assumed that Defne is the thief, didn’t investigate even when they discussed it during their holiday that it seems strange. Never reassured her about Feryal, Iz or Fikret. In fact, she had to simply cope. The whole Deniz situation - he left her when she needed him to trust her.
I wouldn't say it's because he "protected" her. Omer never really showed defne his violent side. If you remember, when omer punched the glass back then he didn't tell her how he got hurt. He never really got violent with her. But her insinuating that she was scared of HIM shook him cuz it's basically leading up to "i'm scared you could get violent with me"
This season we will get jealous Omer and jealous Omer is my favourite. Let him fight for Defne. She deserves it that someone would fight for her after fighting for Omer in first season
Poor Omer, he now knows how Iz felt about not being able to be just friends with him because it hurt her. Now Omer is facing the same thing but with his soul mate.
When Defne talks to Pamir in the hallway in the first scene explaining to him about her character and her involvement with Neriman, etc., you wonder if it occurs to Pamir that he is doing an even worse scam by trying to get Defne to fall in love with him in order to keep money in the family Iplicki. At least, Defne's involvement with Neriman was to save her brother from being hurt by thugs, not for her personal gain. Neriman's scams are always about greed! As for Omar and his jealousy in the scene where he wants Defne out of Pamir's car, remember that he knows his cousin very well and that he is a "player" with girls. There is a flashback scene with Sinan, Pamir, and Omar while they watch Pamir chasing girls. I think Omar wants to protect Defne from being hurt by Pamir while at the same time so very jealous.
I total agree what Pamir is doing by agreeing to Neriman’s scheme is far worse than Defne’s desperate acceptance of the plot involving Ömer. She didn’t do it for family fortune (Neriman) or for rakish fun (Pamir). Pamir (not the actor) is a weasel.

Definitely we love the pair of Defne and ömer but the truth is also that ömer didn't deserve to be with Defne in the season 2 since he left her high and dry in a very vulnerable position when she needed him the most. Finally when she was okay, Ömer decides to finally show up and ruin that too!
You have to realize to Ömer was devastating knowing all the people that he loved lie to him. But he should have stayed . But he is there now and knows his mistake. Defne will forgive him, because their love never die. .

Anam you are so right. It really is such a wonderful scene and like you say it basically transforms Omer and reignites hope in Omer, now that he knows for sure that Defne still loves him. The unsure Omer disappears and the confident, flirty Omer is back full force. So much changes from this scene onwards. Can't wait for the next episode as the confident Omer continues to re-emerge. I'm expecting much swooning in the next episode here in the comments section.

I am convinced he never cheated on Defne with Iz, Yasamin or Fikret. But Defne still had to watch these woman flaunt themselves all over him. That hurt Defne. Omer with his silence too. He’s so passive.
It must hurt worse for Omar to hear that Defne was scared of him. Omar would never intentionally hurt her but to hear that must of hurt worse than being separated from her. In the past Omar was her protector and got rid of any threat to her.
Exactly that was a big blow to Omer. Also she said maybe they can be friends again, I feel like they were never actually friends, they were because they started dating then got engage etc. but I wouldn’t say they were friends, I might be wrong.

In fact, she had to simply cope. The whole Deniz situation - he left her when she needed him to trust her.

I wouldn't say it's because he "protected" her. Omer never really showed defne his violent side. If you remember, when omer punched the glass back then he didn't tell her how he got hurt. He never really got violent with her. But her insinuating that she was scared of HIM shook him cuz it's basically leading up to "i'm scared you could get violent with me"

At least, Defne's involvement with Neriman was to save her brother from being hurt by thugs, not for her personal gain. Neriman's scams are always about greed! As for Omar and his jealousy in the scene where he wants Defne out of Pamir's car, remember that he knows his cousin very well and that he is a "player" with girls. There is a flashback scene with Sinan, Pamir, and Omar while they watch Pamir chasing girls. I think Omar wants to protect Defne from being hurt by Pamir while at the same time so very jealous.
