Love watching your videos, what do you suggest using if not dicor lap sealant, I have a 2018 keystone hideout, already I can feel staples bulging under the membrane, not poking through yet, keystone says this is normal 😤
We got a 2018 keystone on the calendar....4 months out of warranty. We use M1 but I am not sure if it will be compatible???? I got a reply coming in here next week to discuss some of these type concerns. I wish I had a better answer. If anything you could try Leak Stopper by Sashco. It's a water based product so it may work. It's in the roofing dept. at Lowe's.
Your videos are awesome! Im in the process of redoing the roof on a 1976 coachman cadet and i am 6' 7" so the ceiling height is an issue. I am planning on building up the center of the camper to increase the headroom by about 7inches. It will be a box ontop of the camper and i will remove the studs under the box, but fastening and beefing up the frame to support it. On top ill cut 45s around the box so when i lay the super stretch it should hopefully roll over everything okay and get good contact with the glue. The camper was only $700 so its kind of an experiment. Is there anything i should look for that might cause future leaks?
@@RVROOFINSTALL Then mine is pretty much a replica of yours(from what i have seen). I dont think im ready to go that far, maybe ill start with this and see how it goes. Its my first camper. I haven't even slept in it before. :)
@@RVROOFINSTALL im only going to be raising the ceiling height for the middle area of the camper. Ill pretty much be putting a box in the center and putting slanted pieces around it so the superflex will be able to mold over the top of it. The walls of the camper will still be the same height. The box will be 5'x8' and my camper is 8' wide x 17' long. Just main the usable area will have taller ceiling height. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for your quick reply!
Any roof tape will need primer and will need to be sealed. All roof tape is basically the same...butyl with either a PVC or TPO top layer. But it will work lose if not primes and sealed. Thanks for watching!
Another excellent job, and awesome video.
Thank you fine sir. Customer's don't want to have to do this twice....once is plenty!
We’ve got this exact rv- what type of vent did you put on the front? Having a hard time finding one

Did you use the m1 to glue the panels you had the concrete blocks on top of? Or is that a different kind of glue? Was that just luan that was glued?
No. We use a foam adhesive. Great stuff wall and floor.

I'm guessing this is a bumper pull? If so just make it into a tiny house. I'm doing an old mallard that way.

@@alexsenst4912 I'm saying it would be easier to design a truss than rIse the walls. You could design an arched roof truss...easy peasy!

Im curious on the end result.
It's too bad there was a section of the video that was skipped. I'm talking about showing what it looked like underneath the plywood.
There's just foam under the plywood. Nothing to really show...just foam.
Do you guys trust eternabond? as a mean to fix roof leaks
