The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) Final Battle with healthbars 2/2

- Plot:
Mario and his friends, Peach and Donkey Kong, face Bowser, a furious villain, who tries to capture them. Despite their efforts, Bowser defeats Peach and captures Donkey Kong. However, Mario regains his resolve and stands up to Bowser, stopping him from killing DK. Peach kicks the Super Star away, allowing Mario to pursue it. Bowser's fire breath attempts to incinerate him, but Luigi defends him with a manhole cover, allowing them to obtain the Star and become invincible.
Together, the Mario brothers defeat Bowser and his army. Bowser is forced to consume a Blue Mushroom by Peach, allowing Toad to imprison him in a jar. The Mario brothers and their new friends in the Mushroom Kingdom are celebrated as heroes by Brooklyn residents, including Spike and their parents.

He was going to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom and that is not what heroes do.

I like how Luigi isn't as much of a scared brother in this movie. It's cool to see him have confidence every now and then
It was Mario's courage that gave him inspiration.
My favorite example of his courage is Luigi’s mansion where Mario is the one who is in danger and despite being afraid Luigi goes in to rescue his twin!! That’s love for ya!!!

After Peach's rejection at the wedding, Bowser really does go all-out and become the full-blown monster king of the video games.
I never realised how much damage mario actually takes. He really goes through it

One of the best parts of the movie.
If Bowser was actually smart, he would of powered up with the star after he punched Mario away
He was saving it for Peach, he'd have no wedding gift by the time it's all over.

Because the health was already at the very end so I started it over.

If Bowser knows the Super Star makes its user invincible, why does he bother sending his troops to attack them?
When you're blinded by hate filled rage, all rational thought goes out the window. Simply put, Bowser didn't care WHAT it took despite their new found power, he just wanted to see Mario and Luigi dead.
He also probably knows the star has a short time limit, so he hopes that sending the troops will buy him just enough time to make it run out and win

Chances are that they went back to Bowser's castle and is waiting for him to escape so he can plan to get rid of Mario and the others again.

I know Jack Black voiced Bowser, but honestly, I think Fred Tatasciore's Megatron voice would have made Bowser more villainous.

You know, this fight is surprisingly brutal, the way Mario gets thrown through glass. The way they get straight up punched and slammed around, held by the throat. But then again, I'm sure the actual game series is even more violent. Its just the violence in this looks surprisingly realistic considering mario gets cuts and bruises.

I picture this with myself 10 years old fighting Kingpin with Mario, Luigi, Peach and Spiderman because of how much I hate how OP Kingpin is in the movie Into the Spider-Verse. On top of his delusion in it too.
I like how even after the bros power up, it doesn’t show that Bowser’s gotten any weaker, seeing the ground behind felt the impact of his kick
