5:58 how does your game show the potential cost of movement above resources? afaik it only shows in a popup window when you press alt+m2
ah I just found it - when not in chat (tab pressed) mode, having alt pressed shows it normally
How do you make loadouts for a hero? Seen in your past videos being able to switch multiple artifacts with a key press, and back to the original ones
Strg + 1/2/3 (number keys) while you are in your inventory screen to create different loadouts
The just press the number keys any time to switch load outs
so i was watching some of your vids and got inspired to play some wayfarer the other day. i managed to beat it (tho i had to watch ur vids at times to figure out where to go or find an arti :p). towards the end around the 2nd to last necro town my hero's attack stat went from 99-0, i googled it but couldn't find any posts talking about it or why it could happen. do you have any ideas? the final boss fight took absolutely forever with 0 attack lol
Stat overflow. Max stat you can have in HOMM 3 without any shenanigans is 99. One more and it's back to zero. Game's old, pal

I'm not certain why Lexi doesn't check refugee camps when they're literally one step from his desired path. Can anyone explain that? 🙂 For example, I have often found a BD, AA, AB, NQ, or their unupgraded selves (and Giants, DKs, etc.). I kinda LOVE that for any given "day one or two" because... well, it's obvious?? Anyhow, lmk.
i dont get these games. you seem to always start with fly (or other op spells), creatures tend to always join you at the start, and theres a bunch of other incoherent conditions happening. is this a special game mode?
Well, yes, but actually no.
It's just a template for randomly generated maps called "Duel". Ypu can find it online rather easily. In this template you are forced to play one hero, but you begin in an underground "bunker" with a random stack of the units near the gold mine which always join (tier 1-3 of the same faction, upgraded included), sawmill, ore pit, a bunch of knowledge-boosting structures and a full set of exploration scrolls (i.e. Fly, Dimension Door and Town Portal). In Pandoras, aside from the one underground (it contains all third level spells available in the template) you always find creatures and you always have four towns in your overworld zone - one of your faction, one of your opponent's, one Conflux town and one tied to the middle faction. The map is divided into five zones - two starting players' zones, two "side zones" and one middle one. Middle have great loot but units here are harder to diplo and they give you only 25% of the stack, while side zones have a bit less impressive loot but locals are much more willing to join and will give you 50% of the stacks. To access side zones you need get into middle, and to do so you need to "break" - clear the powerful stack guarding the road (it's a rule - if you are just DD or fly over it online and get caught, you'll face the consequences). After the break you are free to do as you will.
That's the jist of it. There are actually quite a bit of things to learn, but that's enough to get going
