- Hi guys, in this video I explained the steps I took to make sure I passed my nail salon inspection every time. Again please make sure to check with you state. Rules vary from state to state and inspector to inspector. As long as you're following the guidelines, you're good. Again this is just what worked for me. Yes, the city checks for ventilation but depends on which city you're in and how strict they are.

In my state I have to have a sterilization system, “autoclave” only…. I have to buy the test strips and run tests on it monthly to make sure it’s actually sterilizing. If you run a test does your device say it’s killing everything?

Those were regular ducts from home depot and I got them spray painted gold. The gold spray cans were also from home depot.

Hi, the rules for washroom in MI is that it has to be clean, have hand washing signs and a dispenser for soap and paper towel. Also the door needs to have a washroom sign🙂

Yes in Michigan, you can't open till they come in and do an inspection. They'll do the inspection and let you know what is needed or if everything looks good. Don't be nervous. They'll be a lot easier since you're not an operating salon. Good luck!!
Hi! I am opening nail salon and it came out that county wants me to install exhaust vents into my tables and be connected to main exhaust. I am confused because so many salons function without it. Please HELP

What is the reasoning for drinking water? In mass your not even technically allowed to have food or drink in salon😵💫
That was one of the requirements listed. Just like there has to be a lunch area. It's more for the employees.
