I love the throwing of the Scooby Snacks at the end! Perfect way to end this...

Swamiji was always keen on distributing food. The scene at the end of this television interview was repeated in almost every context: other interviews and, most significantly, every public meditation program.

Eg. Balyogi saying - The benefit of meditation - Health will be good - translated as blood pressure will be good.

It's Balayogi...not Balyogi. You don't call Messi as Mess, do you? Doesn't matter what's your excuse.

Such a lousy translator. He is translating 20% and skipping the rest. Adding his own things, which were not said. What a shame.

A better translation would be appreciated, but none has offered. We know that Shiladitya Singh, Swamiji's interpreter that year and on this program, was extremely nervous being on television. We also know that Singh did not speak Telugu, which is Swamiji's native language. They conversed in Hindi, and if you know Hindi, you probably noticed that Swamiji's Hindi was self taught. Compare Singh's translations here with those of Jagadish Kumar (fluent in Telugu, Hindi and English) in the "Jesus Yogis & Spiritual Leaders" series of videos. We can't blame Singh given the circumstances, but I do wish for someone who knows Hindi to translate. info@shiva.org.

      20 % ??

The 20% is an exaggeration. What was translated is very consistent with what Shivabalayogi often said, and one's own experiences in meditation.
