  • Learn all about color and why we see certain colors. Why is an object red or an object blue. A key point taught and illustrated in this video is that a red object absorbs all colors and reflects back red and a green object reflects green.
This video goes along with Science Standard S8P4 d
Develop and use a model to compare and contrast how light and sound waves are reflected,
refracted, absorbed, diffracted or transmitted through various materials.
    Science Standard
S8P4. Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information to support the claim that electromagnetic (light) waves behave differently than mechanical (sound) waves
    d. Develop and use a model to compare and contrast how light and sound waves are reflected,
refracted, absorbed, diffracted or transmitted through various materials.

If a thing is red in colour then it reflects only red and absorb all , I am very much confused with it, is wavelength of that reflected red light is same aj that of red wave length light of that white light?
