For one, a hive is usually dark at all hours of the day, but this is not. In fact, it even gets artificial light when it should be dark outside. Surely this must stress them out.
Do you have the plans/schematics for this (very artistic!) observation hive? I assume you designed and built it? What changes would you make if you were to start over?
At 2:05 (ruclips.net/video/CGvETfFMxG8/видео.htmlsi=dUKcG-nEoZSEcTOA&t=125) you can briefly see the entrance to the hive just through the wall next to the window. And at 6:00 (ruclips.net/video/CGvETfFMxG8/видео.htmlsi=44e8NT_Gpe1E0i3I&t=360) you can see the tube leading out of the hive and through the wall. Its a lot of fun just to watch them go in and out this way, seeing them land at the entrance and carry their burden back through to the hive. When the hive grows in population I have two additional entrances I will open as this one can get clogged with bees, literally, at peak times.
