    I've had many different Punjabi-style potato samosas of differing quality and my two all-time favorites are those made by my friend Navi (she is a server, assistant chef, and part-owner of my favorite Punjabi place, Gem of India as well as a practicing Sikh like yourself) and those you have taught me to make. Thumbs up and thank you very much. :)

    Dear Harpal Ji,
    I can't thank you enough for this recipe. It was the best. It was perfect, crispy. And the stuffing was out of the world. I always wondered why my stuffing used to turn out weird. But not this time. It was just like Punjabi samosa that I had eaten several years ago from a shop that was famous for samosas. It was soooooooo yum with tomato ketchup. Thanks to you. This was the first recipe that i tired from your videos. Going forth. will be a regular viewer.

    2. A stylish turban-one
    3. outrageous Red shirts-as many as possible
    4. a winning attitude-lots of it.
    5. a sexy accent-to taste.
    Mix all of these with a little whiskey and BAM! you're a Chef!

    The best thing about sir @chefharpalsingh ji is, that you give the reason, significance of each step taken while cooking. I have seen numerous videos of your and tried various things and each time it has been perfect. The detailing that you mention without forget adds not only to the particular recipe but to the knowledge of the cook even for future. Thanks from bottom of my heart.

    Oh yes you can freeze them and use as required, however i believe that you must thaw them a bit before you fry them as the potatoes inside would remain cold.

    Hi Harpal ji,
    I really admire all your recipes n tips that you give us. I am trying to make the samosas exactly the same way you are showing but i guess there is something wrong that i m doing. My samosas are oki but the covering on top is little hard and they intend to open up while frying. Do i need to cook it in slow oil from beginning after pouring it or what is the quantity of oil needed . Please help me s i have tried 2-3 times but :(

    • @chefharpalsingh
      @chefharpalsingh  7 лет назад

      Opening of Samosas mean that they have not been sealed properly, just ensure that you apply water and seal correctly..Covering is hard then add little more ghee when making the dough.. Samosas cooked in medium hot oil and not very hot oil
