Today at work had my first mokka x with faulty blower motor. When i first saw that the motor is one whole piece with heating unit, my mind was blown!! My first thought was - no way!! Thanks for the video, like! 💪🏽🫡

Thanks for doing this... video was a big help. One problem we had which seems to be fairly common is that some (all?) suppliers don't specift whether the fan is for a RH or LH drive... the one we received was configured the wrong direction. We had to prise the old fan off its motor and swap them over, and then cut and reverse the wiring to it in order to make it work. Just something to watch out fo.

Thanks for your help. Had to cut mine out. Having trouble refitting the ducting as I can't remember which way it goes back. Should've taken more notice. Can anyone help?

Nissens makes good and affordable blower motors for these mokkas.

My fan started buzzing on low speed, and i will have to replace it soon i guess. So, if i got it right, originally they put the blower from above and they seal that membrane to the outer plastic? Is there any purpose of that membrane/seal?

Hi thanks for this video, it's a big help. I've got an pattern replacement blower and, of course, it doesn't come with screws!! What type of screws does it need? is it set screws or self tapping? and do you have any idea of length and diameter? thanks in advance.

From Memory self tapping - Quite a wide thread.

For anyone with the same problem...I successfully used 3 x Pan Head Self Tapping Screw (Dia)4.2mm (L)13mm

Great Video Rob, can I ask where you sourced the Blower from? Was it direct from Vauxhall as i'm struggling to find a replacement.
