I always taxi Mercy with Ball since I'm fast and can get back to the fight with ease. The next thing happening is that the dumb Mercy tries to pocket me but ends up metting her death as she gets trapped in the middle of the enemy team, and then she swaps to Moira.

It's pretty easy to "rizz" up Mercys from personal experiance. 1) Play any character. It realy doesnt matter who as long as you're good at them. (I do it with Junkrat all the time.) She doesn't want to have to baby someone, she wants to support them. 2) Be kind, say hello but don't spam it. If you have "compliment" voice lines like "Have a nice day" or "Exquisite" use them too, but again, don't spam. They also like matching voice lines like her and Roadhogs "piece of cake." 3) Always say thanks for heals/rez's/pockets or if they are friendly towards you as well. 4) Be vigilant, ping threats often and always stay near her and peel. Also, using abilities for her like Immortality Field, Javelin Spin or Junkrats Trap to save her shows you care. 5) Put yourself in front of her, whether you're a tank or not. They'll usually heal/rez you if you do take damage or put yourself in danger for them. 6) If she dies, run back for her. They'll likely thank you as you bring them back to the team and be more likely to support you. 7) If she sits, sit close but not too close or on her (I see way too many people try to sit on her). If she dances or karaokes, dance with her or use a clap emote and say thanks. Show you like her company.

My fav to pocket in order is pharahs, ashe, sojourn, cass, solider, genji, and bastions. Unless i pair up with a not so good ashe i go for the second dps if they're impactful. Did have one really amazing flashpoint with no deaths. Never had a team so alert was healing dva after she dove an ashe killing her and a enemy mei hit me once that dva immediately boosted to the other side of flashpoint instead of keeping me near that mei so i dont die. When i pinged the mei coming up behide me literally whole team stopped what they was doing just to kill her. They even stayed close by while walking to next point incase got jumped. Soon as i lost health everyone grouped up to kill the person targeting me. They stayed in my lime of sight so i can ga easily if need to
As a pharah main I never liked to get a pocket, but I will taxi our mercy from spawn and try to cover her rez. Take out the enemy support then dip back out to my team n hope for some heals😂
Me personally as a Mercy main, so long as your in range of my dash, and within line of sight, Ill rush in and heal you back to 100. Unless the Tank or the other healer is in danger, cuz they are priority N°1
As a mercy main, you can get a pocket by playing any character, besides Sombra, Tracer, and Wrecking Ball, for obvious reasons. All you have to do is hit your shots and not die too much. Of course taxi helps but it’s not required. Just play well, be nice, and you’ll be a strong candidate for a pocket. ❤
I love how you rarely come across a pocket pharah now. I main Cree and it’s fairly easy to kill pocket pharah but them pocketing gives easy kills for my tm8 to kill of the others
Love when our team wipes and i sit outside spawn waiting for the team to respawn and ill do the group up commands and mercy is the only one that says "No"
Well as a mercy main myself when I go tank I usually just protect the Mercy whenever she's going for a Rez and it work's majority of the time but I don't like getting pocketed too much. a Mercy should know not to focus beam one ally too much.
Greet them, crouch repeatedly, emote for them, stare at their weapon skins and circle them as if you’re looking at every detail on their character, pick them up from spawn ONCE and you are set to be pocketed the whole match
as a mercy main, if there's a cass or pharah i'm instantly pocketing you. i tend to pocket and keep my favourites alive 😭 all these people in the comments saying "how to rizz up mercy players" like dawg we don't gaf about that, just be respectful and a good sport and we will heal/boost
I remember wayback in 2016 i helped a Genji as Mercy take the point in Volskya. I dmged boosted him as we killed a respawning Junkrat. With both did our rest emotes and claimed the point b4 the Dva could take us down 😂

I’m a mercy main. But I always taxi my mercy, with: DVA, Lucio, lw, Pharah (not for a pocket) and sombra.
Mercy mains just love it when I dash in front of them to deflect and protect them while reviving.
Next respawn,I get a full blue beam.
