Oh man! What kind of color is in the PS5 version? Fully washed out color but amazing texture. On the other hand in the PS4 version it is an amazing color with medium texture. Thanks for your video.
So I played around with both versions just for the hell of it and I only noticed 2 things on the Ps5 version that really bug me. 1 the shadow quality is turned wayy down compared to the ps4 version, and 2 the ps5 version has almost a “foggy” look to it. Almost like the picture is washed out at times and I’m not sure why. The PS5 version is definitely better though with the 60FPS, A/O, and volumetric lighting. The almost greyscale world looks amazing once your in battle and the particle effects and magic with color saturation jacked up to 100 start kicking in.
Do you feel the ps5 version looks more clear and less fuzzy? Watching the video isn't quite the same as seeing it yourself on each console. Great vid btw
People be putting the PS4 version down but...uh...the PS4 version actually looks sharper and more vibrant compared to the PS5 version, which looks somewhat dull and even a little hazy/foggy? Maybe it's just this video but I'm actually glad I'm getting the PS4 one.
PS5 looks hazy because it has volumetric lighting which causes light particles to pass through fog and create the effect. PS4 doesn't have this effect.
Wow people you all picky? I'm buying this on my playstation 4 because I don't have a ps5 it's still good looking and plays fine. But I always say one's I buy a game like that I don't care about the upgrade version plain and simple? However if I ever get a ps5 in the future then I will focus on games for that Pacific console that includes exclusive games for that system.

I was using an external NVME on my base PS4 and most loadings take half a minute. In both versions The Valkyrie hair and clothing animations are accelerated. PS5 uses a better AA solution btw, The Valkyries hair on PS4 has some ditchering and smearing, but I,ve seen much more realistic Hair in Shadow of Tomb Raider and Uncharted Lost Legacy, but maybe the game will get more polished upon release date
I mean it is a JRPG with an anime-type style to it so it's not necessarily meant to be the pinnacle of realism. That said, I have the FULL PS5 early access version right now and I know this was the demo being played and so far it does look a little bit more polished but honestly not too much different than demo. Again, tho, this isn't a AAA title going for photorealism like Horizon or God of War, this is an anime-style JRPG more akin to Tales of Arise/Scarlet Nexus so to expect photorealism on the hair especially is having a bit unrealistic of expectations, no?
@@legitimizer I got the Deluxe version either , I am playing and really liking it , the full version really looks a bit more sharper , there is a mix of art styles with realistic textures along with cel shading black outlines and some sort of background filter that really looks what okami thit to give that feel that the game is running above a painting of sorts.
The gameplay is so amazing but I played on PS4 Base and I can say that especially main character texture is not good. Also area textures are too. When i played for over an hour, the graphics started to bother my eyes. No doubt Square Enix made this game for next-gen. But we played God of War and TLoU2 on PS4. So I think we can deserve much clear textures.

In the rare case the camera is right up to her head, the image has a peculiar, unattractive quality as if many horizontal lines.

The demo on ps5 looks pretty poor it looks like a game from 13 years ago. graphics. They are blurry for PS3, I personally canceled my purchase on PS5, played the demo and the game is quite weak.
The PS5 version isn’t “fuzzy”! It’s the volumetric lighting and particles in play, that aren’t present on PS4. The light passing through the air & dust gives that look to the game. It really worries me people call themselves gamers, but don’t know this simple fact.
the only problem with pc version is that they never mentioned Lenneth being ported to PC. Since the deluxe version doesn't have it included. It's also missing the deluxe weapon.
@@khmergodhobbies The weapon Svartaljr is in the deluxe on Steam. I've never played this series before so I'm not sure what I'd be missing. Lenneth doesn't appear in the Steam description. Does she come as a skin? Or an einherjar?
Its Uncanny how similar this game is to Soulstice, I was expecting better landscale graphics though. PS5 can easily do full landscape folliage, grass and clatter at a great distance. Even the black thin line around objects is the same in Soulstice.. fighting mechanics, progress, etc. Its like they took two games, made barebones and skeleton and applied different graphics/models on top of the skeleton.
The ps5 version runs at 1440p upscaled to “4K” but I agree whatever technique they are using to upscale totally is not doing a great job. Sometimes it looks okay but other times the resolution just looks unstable

This is honestly such bullsh*t. The game overall doesn't look remotely next gen. The ps4 and especially ps4 pro could have ran this game way better than it looks here. Fucking lazy.😒 When games like Horizon Forbidden West and RDR2 exist on ps4, excuses for why this game is better on ps5 is complete bs. Devs could have made it look on par with ps5 easily!
PS4 with SSD the loading took 58 seconds. And it looks really bad on PS4. Looks like they did on purpose, since there are many better looking games on it.

To be fare, neither look good. Ive seen better looking games one a PS3. The world looks boring and sparse as hell and just looks wrong, everything looks weird scale wise too. After playing the demo, I won't be buying this anymore, shame, I was looking forward to it a lot. When you have games that look as good as Elden Ring on the PS5, there really is no excuse now for such bland games and environments.
Loading results are biased. Install an SSD into the PS4 for god's sake, or just write it down BIG onto the video. No more loading comparisons with PS4+HDD should be tolerated.
I am buying a ps5 and then a 300 inches tv to see graphic improvement...lrt s be honest this game seems a ps4 game and neither one of the best...ps5 has of course better loading times and more fps but a ps4 owners (like me) has to buy a ps5 to play these games? I want new games that can't run on a ps4 if i ll buy a ps5... No way i buy a 550 euro console to play games that run (even if a little worse) on a 8 years old hardware... At times super street fighter 2 ran on nes when we had snes? No. New console new better games. Not the same thing with more resolution or fps.

PS4 graphics look 4K to me, PS5 graphics look HD.
This game demo besides being a huge let down also looks terrible on ps4 slim, i do not recommend that any one play this way.
