    U made a good point abt IS IT WORTH GOING THROUGH ALL THAT...last tym Djoker went for the olympics and that costed him US open later that same year....Great content as always

    An interesting analysis thanks Jess. Here's another unlikely alternative I just thought up,... by first pushing aside the male ego, they could preserve their energy levels and lessen the chances of injury or burnout by just concentrating on a gold medal in the doubles (...Nadal/Alcaraz,... for Nadal only I'm thinking)....yeah I know it's not going to happen ! I can see doubles as a valid pathway for Serena to take, with her sister, if she's serious about re-entering the tennis world.

      Thanks Geoff! that’s an interesting point about doubles. The Nadal/Alcaraz pairing has potential to do well, I wonder if Djokovic would have similar thoughts. I think unlikely only because I’m sure he’d want a gold in singles though. I’d love to see Serena/Venus doubles come back, that would be hugely interesting

      @@jessadjua Yes I'm pretty sure the singles would be the only focus for Novak.
