Do you know what the gas mileage is with big tires and say a 6inch lift, but the truck would be stock gears 2005 f150? Im wondering if you have to change the rear gears. I'm looking to make 1 hour trips on a highway once a month but if I'm only going to get 10 miles per gallon I'm not going to want that. Thanks for your time..

I've owned it for two years. bought it with 27k now 42k on it. no mechanical issues.....YET. but overall quality is shit. to answer your question, I average 13mpg TOPS. that's on freeway, around 9-11mpg city. I don't have a heavy foot either. premium fuel (rarely) DOES NOT make any difference. so don't waste your money. they are only this good, if you drop money into them, or buy the FX4 like this guy did. but if it was completely stock, it wouldn't have been capable of doing half that stuff in the video.

Love those fender flairs man. Love that first spot to, wish I could find a good hill around here to climb. Got a fully stock 04 FX4, love taking her down the dirt roads but rarely need to stick it in 4x4. Hopefully as the weather gets nice I'll be making some trips.

They put em on before they go in mud pits.. that way if they get stuck no one has to trudge in the mud. They can start pulling the strap instead and get em out.

Add a body lift to it you'll be able to put bigger tires on then
i stacked a 2.5'' leveling kit and lift shackles fto fit 38's
