Thank you for sharing your ECW stories. ECW was more than wrestling. It was art. No wrestling company was breaking new ground the way ECW was in the '90s. You and Shane and the other performers were true artists and innovators who should be proud of what you accomplished.

They were mad at you because you shed light in that room and everyone in it. You didn't know but they did. That girl didn't belong there and Im sure you saved her life. Thats why they told you not to come back to the Lodge, they feared you in a way. You carry light Francine!
She got scared because she heard Francine say "Oh, My God" and conjured it and brought her back into reality. You scared her/ subconsciously exposed her to the light. Something happened in that moment that none of you saw. That's why years later she ran into you a changed woman. You can hide in the dark but all it takes is one person to shed light on it. Be careful everyone.

I can only imagine the shit that was going on behind closed doors back in the day lol. Imagine if cellphones & social media was a thing back then 😵.

I took a tour of the arena few days before this years Wrestlemania. The Travelodge was mentioned as the place to go to after the show.. It sounds like the craziest,wild place to be in Philly.
Part fun, part disgusting!
Part fun and disgusting it sounds like it yeah. I wasn't at any ECW shows. It's amazing to hear where the actual entrance was back then and where the bar is now used to be a Dollar store. The Mummers floats were back stage.I love being a fan learning all of this.
These the stories I like haha. Fran can you talk more about what would happen at the ecw bingo hall parking lot?
I have no idea about the parking lot? I only know of a couple fights breaking out.

I once showed up there to challenge Justin Credible to a fight because I fancied Francine so much. I ran away when he gritted his teeth at me, and said he was going stick his kendo stick up my rear end and turn me into a human popsicle. I was quite prepared for the possibility of going through a flaming table, or being shot with a staple gun, but I'm quite sensitive about my a-hole. I didn't wanna be someone's lollipop, no matter how great, sweet, or just incredible I tasted.

I wish I could meet Francine. She is such a tender hearted, compassionate, thoughtful, open minded woman. What a wonderful person to be around I am sure. She reminds me of Doreen virtues description of earth angels. More human than human. Very impressive moral character and also very intelligent and perceptive.

I saw Francine at either a Ruby Tuesdays or TGIFridays on route 13 in Delaware yeeears ago. She was with one other person, may have been her mother and when I saw her face I was like that's Francine. I was such a mark for ECW and I wanted to hug her so bad and ask for an autograph. I realized where I was and that she was trying to enjoy her meal so I refrained. When she got up and put that ECW jacket on, I nearly came unglued. I wanted to yell I KNEW IT but I choked it back and watched her walk out. She was so petite and beautiful. I always had mixed feelings because I would have loved to talk to her but I was also glad I chose to respect her privacy and not potentially ruin her meal.

Oh wow . I really wish I did. If I'm dating the time period right, the cell phones didn't have all fancy cameras like they do now but I would love to have spoken and maybe asked for an autograph. Not surprised by hearing that . From what i have heard the ECW lockerroom was a pretty crazy place from the drugs, prostitutes and the guys brawling in back over issues and Heyman doing whatever he was doing . Must have been a hell of an experience for the female members of the roster to have to see let alone deal with those type situations .Problably you had to have a thick skin after seeing that a few times .
It wasn’t only ECW. It was all the wrestling promotions. ECW always gets a bad wrap. But all the other feds were doing the same stuff.
@TheQueenofExtremeFrancineECW I agree with that but in the major feds they kinda downplayed it where with ECW it was almost expected . Have heard some of the stories of things that went on and whatnot . Heyman must have had a field day trying to deal with it . If stuff like that happened in WWE and WCW that would have put to a stop automatically if they were caught . Then again I'm going by what I have heard . Not trying to put a bad rap on anyone's name .
@@craigstrachanMaybe possibly WWE but I kind of doubt it from the stories Nash, HHH, and several other tell and definitely not WCW because back in the day there were plenty of videos out of Nitro Girls all F’d up doing striptease shows backstage and let’s not forget all the rats
Francine, if you read this I wanted to say your like a fine wine. You have gotten even more beautiful with age. And you were questioning why everyone was mad at you and that girl was so embarrassed when you came in. I think it's a sign of respect. I think the boys knew how you were and they respected you and when you came in they knew you wouldn't be with the shit. So they felt a type of way. And it's obvious why the girl was upset when you came in the room. People had respect for you as the Queen of ECW. I think you and Beulah would be the only women to get that respect in an ECW locker room

From what it sounded like, originally, I thought it was the Travelodge that kicked you out. But after hearing the whole excerpt, it was the big brother in Shane that wanted to protect his little sister in you. The Franchise character was a dick, but the real man sounded like a cool guy.

Paul would do those commercials for the hotline where he'd give away stuff about upcoming WWF and WCW matches ahead of time and I was like oh I see so those big companies are fake but clearly ECW is real because of the blood and all. I hated Francine just as intended LOL

I wonder if Francine has ever spoken about how she copes with chronic pain and mobility issues due to pro wrestling. Or is she one of the lucky ones who is relatively unscathed. I doubt it based on her injury history and how much harder those bumps are for thin women. But I do hope she is free from suffering. I hope one day we all will be. Thanks to anyone who responds!
