6:05 don’t be such a purist… firstly Skell is still a unique word not found anywhere else in media still making it just attached to this series and secondly it just sounds epic to speak. Also I’m german and played the german version which always also gets translated directly from japanese into german and that word was also just used in our texts. So our localization also kept that in europe… which was originally the only region that saw it worth to translate Xenoblade in general compared to Nintendo America so I think they know what they are doing. Like for example in og japanese Metal Face is ‘Black Face’… and so on… they also gave pretty much all of our main cast and so on in all games the names we now know them by… so I don’t know what you are on about exactly. Unless you mean you rather want Metsu, Shin, Yoshitsune, Benkei, Satahiko and Marubēni to be our enemies names in Xenoblade 2 rather than Malos, Jin, Akhos, Patroka, Mikhail and Amalthus for example.
There is no souteast asian version. All based on American version. The De is based in American released event the Japanese version. If you watch Luxin video they probably return some localization.
Iirc the only things that were changed from the japanese to the english version are the removal of the bust slider and the censorship for a 13 year old girl , i dont even care if any of that comes back. As for the localization , the word Skell coming from the word Exo-Skelleton being piloted by the Skelleton Crew , makes in english way more sense than the word Dolls that is in english just not used the same way. The word Dolls in japan goes way back to even the first mech stuff , essentially the word Doll for them can be used interchangeably for everything that is a Mobile Suit / Mech or even a Girls Doll , thats just not how that works in english. Anyways , by this point in time i wouldnt recommend you to even touch the Wii U version anymore ... its just not worth it to waste hours on an inferior experience.
There is a _lot_ of new content in thia trailer. Multiple new characters, stuff from concept art that got cut, races that got mostly cut, parts of the intended main story that got cut... I cannot recommend the Wii U version at all.
@SwiftGundam the general localized terms are going to be the same obviously. But there's new story, and new story means new dialog compared to the original game to begin with.
@Rizky-Gumilar xenoblade 2 sold over 2.7 million copies and Xenoblade 1 and 3 about 1.8 million. It's not zelda or mario numbers but the games are only getting more popular
@@Rizky-Gumilar Xenoblade 2 sold 2.7M as of december 2022 Xenoblade DE 1.9M as of december 2022 Xenoblade 3 1.87M as of march 2023 The series is not flopped, but I agree that Xenoblade deserve more sales.

But no original dialogues or features that were changed or removed for the original localization?
@SwiftGundam there's really not anything you're missing out on other then a boob slider and we don't even know if that's in this game at all

@@SwiftGundam sorry you cant have Lin, a 13 yo, use revealing outfits. Get over it, weirdo.
I think dolls sound silly. Im not a native speaker. For me dolls means like something young children play with. And this is not what skells are
Freaking sad amazing series like Xenoblade keeps flopping on Nintendo systems. Nintendo users don't buy other games besides Mario Pokémon Zelda.
It's not flopping, they've been selling pretty well ever since Xenoblade 2
@AstralXen they all flopped none of them game could sell pass 2m
