Herbrand Larsen was always my favorite part of Enslaved. His vocals brought so much to the table in terms of atmosphere and emotion. Was very sad when he left the band but Håkon is an excellent successor! Love "E" and the two new tracks from the new album. Herbrand and Cato will be missed dearly

im not a huge black metal fan, but damn vertebrae is just fucking amazing and flawless... its a beautiful album start to finish. the guitar solo on Ground sounds and feels like pink floyd, fucking love it!!
I always place the feelings that I get with the instrumental part of every song I listen to over the lyrics. For me the lyrics are mostly secondary in music. But of course I'm talking about my own perception of music. Anyway, I also think this song in particular is very beautiful instrumentally.

Finally had the pleasure of seeing Enslaved live. I didn't think it was humanly possible to love this band even more than I did before.
