Does the SBI travel card work everywhere? I heard in the Netherlands mostly Maestro is accepted
Maestro is the local bank card but almost everywhere visa and master card is accepted which should be the type of your travel card
@@SambitPhD and I have heard indian debit cards don't work but credit cards do. Is this true? Would a travel card work the same as a credit card?
@@MrMishra814 travel card is technically a prepaid debit card because you need to have balance in it but it works like a credit card in transactions!

So don't buy new there, just take the necessary and get smart in the Netherlands.

Why do you worry so much about all the prices? You're a PhD student in Delft, you get paid between 2-3K a month which is a lot of money..?
Because the videos that I make is for my audience who are mostly International students coming to study bachelors and masters and not only PhD :) Also we have taken huge loans when we study here as non-europeans. So, we need to save money to repay the loan slowly while earning and saving during PhD :)

Are rice, daals and spices allowed at Netherland customs?
As far as I know, there are no issues with Rice and Dal but there might be problem with some spices

Which basic medicines do we get in Netherlands?
Not much idea but you can always bring basic cold medicines, paracetamol without prescription. Always a good idea to carry prescription incase something happens

I have a question to ask. Is it possible to to send only tuition fees and show living expenses as bank statements? I have talked with my agent they said I don't need to transfer living expenses I can show it as my bank statement, so. I'm really confused. And Thanks for ur helpful videos
It depends on the university. As most universities ask it so you need to send it. So, check for yourself what the university asks :)
As far as I know, you need to transfer the tuition fee and only show your bank statement. Don't send your living cost to the uni.

Yes, Uber is available. If you have a 30% ruling then you can exchange Indian license otherwise you need to learn driving, pass exams here to get NL License. Well you can take any 1 stop flight which will be cheaper than KLM direct but if you have too much luggage then I would recommend KLM even though you pay extra!

Well as I mentioned in the recent scholarship video, because of less number of scholarships, it is not that easy to get a full scholarship but you might get a partial scholarship with a good profile

buy it from Netherlands because it will have a warranty and if it gets damaged you will get it repaired for free. Moreover cost is more-or-less same over here and India. I am from UK but have done same!
I felt that the entry level laptops are much cheaper in India. So, I bought from India. Having said that, as Omar said, if you run into issues then it will be tough if you bought from India :)

You have to check flight guidelines. Knives are never allowed in hand luggage. Some medicine like paracetamol are allowed without prescription

A lot. Utensils are very cheap in Ikea even if you buy new. Sometimes cheaper than India! Check the Facebook groups of the region you come for and you will find Indians and also students for that university!
how to get permanent residency of Netherlands after finishing studies
