Oh it's so awesome. I used to hate having to go to the laundromat, now landry day is my favorite day of the week. I usually just chill on the bench playing BG3 or Jedi Survivor. My setup is a ROG Ally, Xreal Air glasses, Viture charging adapter (when I need to charge and play at the same time) and an Xbox controller. I plan on setting my router up to port forward so I can remote play my PS5 from anywhere as well. I give it a year or two, and then we will likely see decent AR glasses like these going for under $200.
So I actually own a pair and I was an early Kickstarter backer however, my issue with them is that I have to make the virtual screen much smaller than it’s higher end in order to be able to have minimal blur around the edges.. but having a smaller screen kinda defeats the purpose. I think maybe my eyes just aren’t very compatible with it.
I had blur around the edges but that was caused from how it was sitting on my nose. By using another nose piece I was able to see the screen completely.
People complaining of the price, remember this is just starting up. They will hopefully make better iterations in the future. Definitely something to keep your eye on👌
Also, a lot of people are seeing the $800 price and not keeping in mind that that is for the bundle that includes the glasses, the neckband assessory, AND the dock accessory. I hear this a lot, as an early VR adopter "htc vive OG" and now Reverb g2, I would say you shouldn't be comparing these two "different" technologies. The main reason (I think) to buy these glasses would be to lay flat in bed and watch a movie or play games. VR is something where you would solely play games (in my personal experience for work it isn't ideal being a programmer). And in VR you probably move around a lot. So different techs different use cases, and both hell lot expensive... I mainly bought the Viture to use with my Steam Deck. I am skeptical about the screen size so if I don't like it I will just use the 30 day return policy. And perhaps try a different brand.

@@GDBAKED81 I totally get that, and if you don't own a VR headset yet then I would definitely recommend anyone to buy a VR headset instead of some AR/XR glasses. Other than that I think it is the best one for sharp video quality. Unless the tech is improved a lot I won't be upgrading from the Reverb G2 anytime soon. It's really good. But for games like Beatsaber it isn't great (on medium difficulty or higher) because when doing quick movements the tracking gets lost...
Awesome concept and idea but definitely for a certain audience at that price point, but hopefully this technology catches on for people with disabilities and such and eventually the price goes down so they can afford it.

I wanna see the picture thru the glasses and see what it looks like. If its better than playing on a monitor or tv. Then its worth the money. Otherwise whats the point? Can you completely see the whole screen thru them?

Does the glasses have a TV screen it and when they be bad on a persons eyes, because I know if you sit too close to a TV set every day, just looking at the TV make your eyesight diminish
~ The Future of this tech wear has got to be fully immersive reality overlapping holographic environment education and game play... what are your thoughts on this idea?
Idk. What turns me off is on some content, the screen moves along with you and not in AR space so it can get a little nauseating. It's very cool but of course, not perfect.
I might see myself to a pair of these for my birthday and hope that they sell enough to make a generation 2 because you know the next-gen is going to be 4K at least... Viture 2 Ultra 8k 😁
At last! After years of living in your room, you can finally leave to experience the world. Visit the Grand Canyon and watch Godzilla vs. Kong, ( whenever version you wish, pick one ) this way, the epic fight looks like it really did some damage. Immerse yourself like never before and play Grand Theft Auto while on the road and raise your wanted level. ( please don’t ) With the newest add on, you can now continue the fun while you sleep, get yours today. All jokes aside, this still looks nice but after a while those glasses are going to dig into your ears. Other headsets look like they would feel better but thats an easy to fix problem, my big issue would be the wires. It’s interesting seeing how technology is changing
Seen this before I have something like it's headphones that turn into a screen on your face when you place them kn your eyes called glyph or something at 720 which I bought for 150.00 on ebay.
questions: 1. Battery life? 2. How to get a replacement battery after 2-3 years of use? 3. If you're gonna spend 700usd for a lightweight monitor, how's the warranty for people abroad?
OMG! When i first played your clip i thought my internet paused. But, you were just pullin' a Michael Jackson at the Super Bowl. Lol! And whats that on your shelf behind you? Have you named him? He looks like a Larry..
Now if you use a USB headset and your device only has the one USB port, then things might get tricky. You MAY be able to use a hub, but I'm not positive if a hub would do the trick...PD Alt Mode can be tricky when you start adding in hubs. One of the Viture's own accessories may let you do this?...I'm not sure. If not, your best then may be to invest in a different headset, either Bluetooth (a true Bluetooth one, not one that uses a USB dongle) or 3.5 jack (if your device has an aux jack of course)
Imagine how just as easy it would be to program the glasses to work as VR for the PS5, Almost as expensive but you get the added effect of lighter, augmented reality, etc. etc.
I see where ur coming from but unfortunately these would make for a very poor vr experience. Maybe slightly better than google cardboard. The problems are fov, resolution, refresh rate and IPD adjustments. You also don’t have 6dof on these from what I understand and many other things. While it would be nice to have an extremely light pair of glasses that work in vr, these would be falling off all the time. There’s so much more that makes this a bad vr/ar product.
Won’t work, you don’t have 6DOF so you wouldn’t be able to move IRL, and doubt the connection it uses would be able to mimic one of a PSVR 2’s, the PSVR 2 is closed source so I doubt you’d be able to trick the PS5 into thinking it’s a PSVR 2 anyway
I entered the video to see the difference between the true review, like the one Linus and Luke did, and the paid review that only highlights the pros of the product "in a perfect world scenario", and never mentions the cons at all 😤

~ The Future of this tech wear has got to be fully immersive reality overlapping holographic environment education and game play... what are your thoughts on this idea?
It wont let me connect with neckband with my ps play keep saying license issue so this is cap
Hi sorry to bother you, do you still use Psvr2, and what do you think
I do and it’s awesome
We were told don't sit close to the tv soooooo lol
How’s the lag on this ?
This is the future but waiting till 8k comes out
Cool! I gotta get one of these for my PS3! 🎉
Can in use ps remote play straight from my phone with out neck band?
Wait till you find out Phub has a VR section 😂i use my oculus ever day but havent played a game on it in months
Bro just get the xreal air 2 pro. It's better and cost less
@@Sage16226right everyone acting like this is new tech when that's been out for years 😂
Does the PS5 or Xbox need to be turned on to connect to it while traveling..?
Remember automatic cars was expensive back then until it became normal and manual became expensive. Give it time
Will they work if you only have one eye like me
Looks like a smaller and more affordable Apple Glass....crazy I havent seen or heard about these
Bro we are finally in the future
Can you get them in the UK or something the same in the uk
They are like 300 now lol❤
How much is one?
I doubt I can afford it. But it would be a great Christmas gift. ❤ this technology.
Here's a question. So how does it integrate with people who use headphones while gaming?
Now if you use a USB headset and your device only has the one USB port, then things might get tricky. You MAY be able to use a hub, but I'm not positive if a hub would do the trick...PD Alt Mode can be tricky when you start adding in hubs. One of the Viture's own accessories may let you do this?...I'm not sure. If not, your best then may be to invest in a different headset, either Bluetooth (a true Bluetooth one, not one that uses a USB dongle) or 3.5 jack (if your device has an aux jack of course)
his eyes look fried lol
Whats the refresh rate?
Yo this would be much better no more tv just put on the glass and lay down on your bed and play or watching movie till you felt asleep loool
Dammit, I just bought a new TV. Technology is always evolving, fuck!!!😂
Why does this guy remind me so much of Jonah hill 😂 I think that makes the videos more engaging to me lol
Can you use these or the new ones with ps portal?
And my mom kept warning me to not stay too close to the television
Does the battery life match the price?
It's like in the Simpsons. That Homer got from his boss, Mr Burns.
The Best on the market!
5G strait to the eyes ,brain and wrapped right around your neck.Super healthy 👍
Yup, I’m def using these glasses for the vr po…. 🤔 yup def 😏😂
Might have to get these around the holidays
Won’t work, you don’t have 6DOF so you wouldn’t be able to move IRL, and doubt the connection it uses would be able to mimic one of a PSVR 2’s, the PSVR 2 is closed source so I doubt you’d be able to trick the PS5 into thinking it’s a PSVR 2 anyway
very good explained - I have a Set ordered
I entered the video to see the difference between the true review, like the one Linus and Luke did, and the paid review that only highlights the pros of the product "in a perfect world scenario", and never mentions the cons at all 😤
