Everything in its season my good friend.
A lot of us are appreciating these recordings now with the benefit of maturity, and nostalgia, at the time when they were intitially released, most of us thought they were "local" and didn't pay them much attention.
By doing that we impoverished these great acts , with a lot of them passing on in utter penury.
Our current crop of performers may not be as skilled, but they do have the support of young Nigerians at this time, which is more than we did.
