Just bought the game last night. Haven't played yet (darn job!) Looks pretty sweet so far!
I was really excited about this game, but then it launched and the reviews were overall positive, the one snag for me was the time pressure element. I actually despise time pressure in games because I love to take my time and just take everything in.
Hearing about this survival mode that literally just removes my single turn off is fantastic news and it might finally be time for me to pick this up 😊

Finally, I was going to give another change to this game I bought in pre-release basically but didn't get the grip on it, felt like some rushdown to finish a session where I didn't even know what the heck should do or how to play and each time I was going back to defend the tree absolutely unprepared. Tried to check videos about the game to understand after almost 2 years before deciding if uninstall or not but thankfully I found this piece of information.
I think the first part of the video and the game should be the story mode to understand and learn, the game is way to complex to jump into survival and enjoy the game, specially when playing solo. Gonna give it a try again with this new perspective and checking Story mode first, then possibly keep playing instead of burying it as I initially thought.

yeah i played on release and quit cause there was no survival mode lol, im redownloading now and going to try survival mode.

game has a lot of bad reviews and low playtimes but it seems like a cool game better than valheim, not really sure if I will end up like all the other bad review givers but its 66% off and I want to try it
Well worth it - the game had some major update's since launch. Make sure to try all the game mode's as well!
