Completely unnecessarry. Rattling is normal as the 10x pericopes internal ois space is larger than other cameras. I have an S23 Ultra and it rattles even more than this since its first day. Also you gave away your water resistance for absolutely nothing
when you encounter the issue you will know it. What you talking about is IOS but this is an actual fault. please read other comments where people have actually got their devices fixed..
@@JordyXRepairs 10x periscope stops rattling when its active thus proves that noise is ois. Not a fault that effects the phone, not a fault at all. Also pofessional camera lenses with ois rattle like crazy too.
have used the genuine back cover adhesive and pressed it down. So it will have the water resistance intact. make sure the surface is fully cleaned to put on thr new adhesives and makes a tight seal..

My S23 ultra just went in today to get fixed. Was told it was defs broken. Could not even take a video without hearing the rattle in the video had the phone for 6 months and just started making the noise yesterday. I did notice that when 10x was activated it would stop but as soon as 10x was no longer active or camera off slight movement of the phone could hear the rattle. My S20 also had a slight rattle but that one was normal from iOS this one is not. Should not be able to hear a rattle when taking a video while walking.
We need a class action against Samsung. Samsung has been feeding us lies for years. There are a lot of people with defective lens and they keep telling them it's normal. In a lot of cases it's not normal. My phone has been repaired twice, every time the rattle comes back really loud. It goes away when you use 10x zoom but that does not prove that it is not defective. Also, when you record a video you hear the rattle which is INSANE for a company to say that's normal. We need to group together and blast Samsung on this.... NOTE: It's normal if you hear a SLIGHT rattle when you AGGRESSIVLEY shake the phone, but if you hear the rattle from rotating your phone then you have a defective lens. Good luck working with Samsung warranty. This is utter BS for a flagship phone. This is utter BS customer service from one of the biggest cell phone brands. A phone that rattles loud when you slightly shake the phone is NOT NORMAL.

@thatvoiddude6188 thr phones were compare to a new phone which did not rattle as much as the faulty one..

OIS if the rattling is not loud. When it's abnormally loud then the zoom cam needs replacing.

yea, my s23 ultra too, so hard make video coz the noise come when u make a move.
I solved the problem by selling the stupid thing since samsung will not recognize the fault under warranty. good strategy to lose recurring customers
