Whether you're peacefully exploring cutesy ball-populated landscapes or eviscerating medieval bears with your bare, blood-drenched fists, your reviews are always very relaxing to watch/listen to. The positive attitude you bring to this platform is highly appreciated - now more than ever. Never change, my friend - only for the better!*
*as long as you don't go out punching bears in the face in real life; they're our friends, you know? 💜
Haha thanks! That’s really kind of you to say ☺️
GREAT review, thank you!!
Yeah when you change your game mode for example, medium or hard - the gameplay or enemies attack strategies don’t change at all. You just have limited lives. For example, in easy mode, you have a limit of 15 lives until you upgrade into a bigger ball for a temporary amount of time then you go back to ten lives.
But on medium, the limit is 8 lives until you upgrade to a bigger ball once again. R then go back to having three lives as the limit. So.. I don’t know about hard mode, since I haven’t tried it yet. But yeah, easy mode is definitely recommended as it’s the preferable mount. But, change it whenever you want if you want your gameplay to be spicy.
It’s definitely a countryball game nonetheless. But you don’t need to know what countryballs is to enjoy the game, that’s the joy of it. Sure, it may not follow some aspects of the countryball rules, like Israel not being a cube or Nepal not taking the shape of their flag.. but it’s still a countryball game at heart. All the maps are all “inaccurate” historical events, like the Vikings, the Space Race (Cold War), and the Pirate expansion map (European expansion across the seas). So, if you like history or countryballs in general. This game is top tier.
Don’t play it if you exclusively don’t like 3D platforms, like she said. Or just have a burning hate passion directed towards polish developers.
P.S - This game is also insanely adorable, idk if it’s just me, but the voices for the NPCs are amazingly cute. All the maps have their exclusive accents for all the balls too idk thought it was cool.
Like the Space Race map, there’s the US and Soviet side there’s these American and Russian accents for their sides. The Vikings map has these nordic/Scandinavian accents, and the pirate expansion map has Spanish or, Yknow, pirate accents. Thought it was a cool detail idk.
Oh yeah, I’m not sure if it’s entirely PG friendly, because there’s a ball vaping in the bathroom on the main menu lol. It’s funny.
Sorry if I wrote a lot. I just really love this game and I wanted to mention some things that she didn’t mention in the video.
I didn’t even notice the accent thing, that’s so cool!
It’s such a great game with so much detail, definitely deserves more attention than it gets!
@@LamoGaming for sure! Exit plan developers are very talented!
Zomg!
I'm so glad you got to try this game!
It's wild how much fun this little hidden indie game is.
That name, though. That might be holding it back.
But I agree 100% with everything you said. It's easy to lose hours to this game exploring the wonderful stages the devs have created.
Exploring a world that feels lived in with fantastic collect-a-thon mechanics. It's a beautiful thing.
Thank you so much for giving this game a shot and sharing your review with us.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you for recommending it!! You were right it’s absolutely a hidden gem and I can’t believe more people don’t know about it. They’ve made such an awesome game!
Awesome fun, thank you for recommending!
No problem, it’s a great game!
This game has been in my whishlist for a quite awhile but ill buy It later with my birthday money
Thank you for this lovely review! I saw this game coming to GoG and now I really will buy it :)
Awesome! I’m so happy it’s coming to consoles now 😄
This came out in the Nintendo Switch not too long ago. It is so much fun! I love to complete collections too. I found most of the customization items myself but had to look up a guide for a few. I can't wait for the fifth world to be finished. It's going to be a western themed one. Yay! A lovely review and video. Thank you.
Oh, on another note, have you played A Hat in Time? It's a pretty fun 3D platformer game too. It's a fair older game, but i wonder if you would consider making a review video on that at some point?
I was so happy to see that it was released on the switch. I’m not always a fan of platformer type games but this one is amazing. I really need to replay and visit the new worlds!!
And thanks for the recommendation, I’ll look into that one. I do have a few games lined up so it might take me a bit to get to it but I promise I’ll try! Thanks!
Oh, I'm sure that you will enjoy the fourth world, and I'm sure the fifth one will be just as fun too. I hope.
No, worries if you don't end up making a video on it, but I hope you find some enjoyment out of it if/when you give it a try. Thank you for taking it into consideration.
Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is an AMAZINGLY fun game, it’s so great! It’s got HUGE open levels full of objectives, missions and things to collect plus there’s a lot of customization you can do with your ball. You can also find weapons like a fire sword, ice sword or a holly bible, plus the game looks amazing with all of it’s colors, detailed environments and vast landscapes. It’s a great game with LOTS of content to do, it’s got hours of enjoyment and fun to be had. Great review. 👍
Summarised perfectly, thank you!!
This game looks cool, I should really give it a try. (:
You really should! It’s such a great game
Ooof like 30 bucks for 5h gameplay if you explore EVERYTHING.... whoa! oO Not cool....
I got about 13hrs out of it without doing everything, and with two more maps on the way I think that'd add on at least another 10 hours or so which I don't think is bad for $30
@@LamoGaming It's not about the hours of a game. It's about the game within those hours 🙂
Nice Mario fake! :)
