This happened to me when I played with my brother. I lost a nfr turtle. But in a way getting scammed wasn’t a bad thing. I told my brother not to show any of his good things (including a bat dragon he had worked a year and a half for) and the scammer was only interested in my neon turtle. I was so excited, I thought I’d be getting a shadow dragon and a crow, that I didn’t pay attention to verified friend and I lost the turtle. This, however, ended in my benefit. My brother lost nothing, and I still had a nfr lamb left. I started trading much smarter with the help of my friend who knows any sort of values and now I have a regular fr turtle. And on the bright side, I only had the neon turtle for about four hours; a scammer had accidentally given it to me. I got lucky, and I’m glad this video was posted so people can avoid ending up like others. I was crying the night I got scammed and considered quitting, but my friend encouraged me to work my way up and regain the nfr turtle instead of stealing it from more scammers. I’m sad, sure, but I’m also lucky that getting scammed kind of motivated me to work harder for my pets. Working for good pets is much better than winning them out of chance because you’ll feel much more hesitant to hand it over to anyone. Oof, sorry I’m rambling. Thank you for posting this!

thats so real, from the start of the year I got scammed for my nr arctic, I worked a year to get it, I quit for afew months then came back 3 months ago. I know have not only a nfr arctic but a frost drag, evil uni, parrot and lots of neons megas and more, my inv is also 5.4+. Idk if this is js beacuse im good with values or maybe beacuse the scam encourged me. tbh, I think both.

Quick overview on how it works: The scammer tells the friends to trade rare pets to each other, while the trade is loading the scammer makes a brand new account under a similar name, the scammer pretends to be the friend and then the friend loses their pet

Someone scammed me kinda like that . They said “abc if you have a best friend, sibling, or cousin, if you do, I have a surprise for you.” Me and my friend said abc so he took us to his house, and he said “prove your friends and trade your fav or best pets to your friend!” So I did that. Lost my fr horse and fr ccbd for that. I’m still super upset, I cried when it happened.
Same happened to me and my bff except my bff got scammed of a NFR vampire dragon, I feel bad cause I lost nothing, while she lost a neon me and her had worked in for weeks

Nah, I started adopt me like a few weeks ago and my brother gave me this like mega cat thing ( snow cat i think ) and someone tried to scam me and they accidentally gave me a neon leviathon and a couple of cute megas! ( this is also why i dont trade people anymore:] )
That almost happened to me and my brother but I caught on right away too the extra letters they add to the fake account is a giveaway but if not paying attention can definitely get u scammed
people are so terrible these days. even creating exploits to be able to take a pet out on the second trade, thats how i lost my crow and all my other good pets.

The same exact thing literally just happened to me... They kept trading me saying to give my friend my frost dragon if I trusted her. Then I realized that I wasnt trading her since we were on a call and she told me so I declined the trade. I'm so glad I didn't fall for this dumb scam. I don't understand why people are so miserable to be doing things like this to others...

i don't play adopt me but this scam is actually so creative. next time this happens just block the two alt accounts before they trade you, then trade your real friend, cousin or sister.
Today i met 5 scammers on adopt me, two of these were using the same method, 1 using a fake link and other 2 using a rare pet that was in trading for a common item that the other one have, to make people getting their pets away! It's awful!! how can be people being so evil these days??!
FINALLY SOMEONE bringing this scam into the light. I had my NFR turtle FR Frost fury i had since it came out and it was my fav pet and multiple other things stolen from me from this. Theres different ways they do this scam too just be cautious

I seen this someone tried it with me and my friend with her shadow dragon luckily my friend knew what she was doing so we didn’t get scammed she recorded it and posted it on yt now they are exposed thank you for also spreading awareness for people to know

I hate scammers, but I am thinking about quitting adopt me, I played over 3 years and finally got a mega unicorn, but not even an hour later, I got hacked and lost it….

Has anyone ever thought about or worried about the fact that all these scammer accounts that are getting banned have all these nice old pets and are now no longer able to be traded within the adopt me market? It kind of worries me in the fact that one day we might not have any of a certain pet out here because all of them got hacked or scammed and then they get banned and never to be able to trade those pets or get them back into trading rotation again?!? Sad and scary!

Omg I remember someone tried to do this with me but I was confused so I asked my cousin and she said it was a scam and I was like how and then she explained and so I tried searching it up and they replaced the lowercase L in her user with a capital i, so it looked like it was her

i got scammed a few days ago go with a new scam this girl wanted me to prove she can trust me to give me a free frost she told me to trust trade my friend and do all my rare pets and i did a mega cow at first nothing was wrong until i did it the second time which i didn’t think anything of it that was until my friend told me she doesn’t have them thats when i looked in the trade history which i saw the difference the fake account had an extra x luckily thanks to adopt me support i was able to get my pets back

So a person asked me if I had a trusted friend and I was calling my friend at the time so I said yes. They did the same thing has the video but I asked my friend it’s a scam my sister told me . He was like I’m not trading you so I declined and told him someone copied ur user and tried to scam me.
The pet was a Fly ride turtle and that’s my dp so IM SO HAPPY THAT I DIDNT GET SCAMMEDDDDDd

i have had this happen to me so many times its stupid. so me and my sister trolled the last person how tried to scam us this way it was fuuny.
Watch out for this new creative scam:
In a server, someone with a rich pet will say “trading for (insert a bad pet) Then, the spare account of the person with the good pet will pull out the exact pet they are looking for. You will spectate the trade and see them trading themselves, the main account saying “please accept, please it’s my dp.” While the other one with the lower pet says “hmm, no” and declines. This repeats until someone overpays for the pet the other person has, hoping they would be able to get the better pet on the persons main. (Unaware it’s a set up.) After you over pay, you will trade them and they will take out one of the pets you overpaid the spare with. The process will continue, as you realize you’ve been scammed.
Be careful, this really made me mad 🤠
Edit: the person in my server had the rich pet (shadow dragon) named as something like “I LOVE OVERPAYING MY SHADOW DRAGON” Incase y’all see that too, it’s all a huge scam!

This happened to me and my friend. My friend gave me Her pets i was gonna give it back but then another alt account traded me. i didnt see it and i felt so horrible after she lost her pets. It was a FR crow, R blazing lion,MFR turtle, FR evil unicorn and some old pets. I feel really horrible. My friend quited after.

I got a scam like this and she told me if I had a trusted friend or cousin and I had my friend I knew Irl join me and she asked if we were in the same room or in a call we were in a call so she kept telling us to hang up the call so we did and she told me to give my crow to my friend. My friend traded me and I gave her the crow and then i private chatted my friend if she got the crow and she said “no” she had had a very similar name to my friends user and she had took my crow and etc.

I also got scammed but a different way I think its kind of dumb but basically someone was like "trading nfr bat dragon for glass skateboard" and prob there alt was trading a glass skateboard as a person I overpaided for glass skateboard but then I trade the person with the nfr bat dragon they accept the first trade and then left- I gave like a fr kanga- soo yea never falling for that again

Someone tried to scam me out of an arctic reindeer (my best pet at that moment) with this same scam but the "friend" was actually my alt so i knew when i was in a trade with it and when u wasn't.
And this is why I don't friend people online because if they try to friend me they always want something

I lost my mega frost fury bc of this, my friend called me to get online cause the scammer said “put your pets in a trade with me first, then trade them to your friend. If you do this, I trust you to take care of my fr frost dragon (they had one, probably scammed)” so I obviously traded my mega frost fury to my friend cause I trusted them but then it was suddenly gone and the scammer left.. my friend had to do the same thing with their mfr dragon before the scammer left too, and we both lost our pets :/ . My friend still didn’t give me anything back bc they were they one that pulled me into this.
I LOst a Neon Shadow to a Scam like this but, the person had a whole Back story on Why they were quitting and stuff and they wanted to make sure me and my son were Nice people so my then 16 year old traded Them my shadow on accident. I have and O in my user and they put a 0 so you now how similar those are so my son traded to them thinking it was Me. My son felt So Bad nothing could pick up his spirits because he knew what it takes to get one. The fact my kid was so hurt by this I had quit for a time. I had this lump in my throat and lost my appetite.... until me and my son could find a way to get me another. My advice: If you have high tiers, don't trade for anything, don't accept new friends and work for pets you can get. Don't click links on social media... even if it looks like someone you know please verify that it is indeed the person you know before clicking because people can make dummy social profiles too as I was had by That one too. I want to thank you Soo sooo much for making this video to save others such a fate and spare others the heart brake 💕💕 Luckily over time I could recoup my losses and rise above the mess. I am going to subscribe to you because I have real respect for what you are doing exposing these people. More people will be able to keep their hard earned pets because of you!

And I remember how, with the help of a script, someone gave me a turtle in trade for my raven, but after the trade I received an ordinary fr turtle. I was so sad, trying to achieve 3 years of raven and at one point losing everything. By the way, now I only have the NFR Chameleon.

Trust Trading is against Adopt Me rules for a reason. This example is one way Trust Trading is used to scam.
I know one scamm... I wanted to join a giveaway from a new ytuber who plays adopt me I clicked to the link and then u needed to log in but it was a falshe roblox side and so she should saw my passwort and user and then she hacked me (it was bevore 2 days) but I got my pets from adoptmesupport back ( SHe wrote u first need to log in so she is 100% a hacker)
I found 2 scammers to expose!! They didn’t know I falled for it and then I exposed them back
In quiting i grind too much for albino monkey when I got it I got scammed😢

I traded shadow and it was my friend i saw her she had my shadow (we were on ft) i was recording etc etc but she had even showed me she had my shadow, when she, traded the girl to show she had it and whem my bff declined it was gone, and the girl didnt stoo there, she had made an alt of MY account to do the same thing but for her mega dog, but whats weird is that my bff ha dmy shadow and didnt trade it back to me but yet it still got stolen??? How??? Unles smy bff left a part out but we had know eachother for a very long time and i trusted her, wendont talk much anymore and its because of that, she knew how much thag shadow ment to me but yet, she still hasnt said anything to me like “sorry for the shadow i didnt know that was going to happen” or like “hey! Wanna play?” Like nothing so, yeah but thats so confusing, im gonna look back at the video but, yeah it sucks
