These guys played in the most entertaining Celtic teams I've seen. It's good to see them talking about their time at Celtic, I'm sure they still have affection for the club, plus it was the beginning of an exciting new era when they showed up.
Well done paul john, to get these two legends together is fantastic, i have great memories of both of them, loved them what a team we had back then.. H.H..
Loved hearing Pierre saying 'Tommy knew what it was like to be a "foreigner" even though he wasn't a "foreigner" in Scotland'. But Tommy's upbringing in the Calton exposed to him what it was like to be a despised "foreigner" in Scotland , he knew his history through song , story and Celtic Football Club. Obviously Tommy's humanity was foremost in helping the "foreign" lads settle , but a lot of that humanity came from being a Celtic man and knowing our history , where the Irish "foreigner" was discriminated against and our language was despised and our religion hated. In essense we are a club founded by "foreigners" and immigrants.
That was fascinating. Two legends whose names will live long in Celtic's history. It's nice to know that they hold the same affection for the club and fans as we do for them. John Collins wasnt bad either by the way. 😏
Playing fast & loose with the definition of the word "legend" there. JC spent 14 months at Celtic, played less than 50 games for us, won zero trophies, never scored against rangers and managed 1 goal in Europe. "Legend"
You either have a bad memory, or else you were not around when these two charlatans messed the club about! Its a pity they did not hold the club in esteem, back when they played for Celtic, instead of in contempt! In no conceivable way, can these two be accurately described as legends. They are anything but!!!
Hewk Eevins! LMAO thanks Pierre, that is golden! Loved the background audio, Dirty old town, was someone playing dominoes in the background? Or Yahtzee lol Was Gerry laughing at Hugh Keevins, or the way Pierre said it 🤣 Maybe a wee bit of both.
Both players never cared much for Celtic, kissed the badge like other impostors personally wouldn’t give them the time of day , but ACSOM still a great channel.
Utter crap. They're human beings who saw their lesser equivalents being paid three to ten times as much as them for doing much the same job. They gave hope to us when we were signing shite like Wayne Biggins, Carl muggleton and Willie Falconer. So fuck you if I suddenly get a little bit excited for, after tolerating that and Rangers dominance for nearly 2 decades, finally getting some players who can actually stand up to Gascoigne, Gough and Laudrup.
Fantastic players ashame about the board not maning up with those wages? Both top top finishers that good the SFA SFA blocked Cadete's signing forms to prevent him playing....Pierre header against the rangers when Andy was the goal keeper near post header into the back post best header ive ever seen for a goal and Cadete's one on one lifting the ball over the keeper whilst jumping over and past his head, what a goal....pure class bhoys... Collins he had it all tackle, play, create and score pleasure to watch. I always loved Craig Burely's time at Celtic solid player!
That’s not quite accurate, when Wim Jansen came to the club, he wanted Pierre van Hooijdonk to comeback, Pierre met the team at there training camp, after a telephone conversation with wim , when he asked Fergus McCann to renegotiate the deal for him he refused , and that’s why wim left the club at the end of the season infact he wanted both including cadette, after he signed Henrik Larsson!!!!
74 goals between the pair while wearing the *Celtic* colours back in the 90’s & judging by the comments here, most of you still hold a grudge. Damn, no wonder both wanted to jump ship as soon as the opportunity to do so arose. 🙄
Couldn't agree more!! I would add Di Canio to that! All three used the club for their own ends. Bunch of hypocrites! You just need to look at how Van Hooijdonk conducted himself elsewhere to see the character of the man. Contrast them with Andy Thom, who came in, around the same time, and made a great contribution in the period he was at Celtic, and conducted himself in a proper manner. I have more admiration, and good memories of him in comparison to the others!!
I concur with both of you! Nearly 50 years of watching celtic & Andrea's Thom is always going to be a favourite with me and PVH Clough found him out as well! HH 🍀
@@Mantis_Toboggan_MD.Exactly PDC in the Lazio Ultra sorting out the Banners etc for the club he truly loves! Hate Badge Kissers! However I'm going to be a sort of Hypocrite 😂 That someone like Henrik has earned that right 👉 These 2 never HH 🍀
When the ball's in the air and it's not Big Pierre When the ball hits the net and it's not Jorge Cadette 2 players missing here. Bring them back. We wan't Paulo.
2 talented players but Pierre especially let the club down in Celtics most important season downing tools, contract talks should have waited till the summer of 1997

Both players where Fantastic for Celtic…..scored decisive goals…..and Quality skills….Well done Pierre ,Jorge….and ACSOM ☝️

@@jamesmcnally5838 Harsh, but probably true. Still a player though.
I can’t believe these two have been interviewed. Both of them couldn’t get away quick enough
Great interview 💚🍀
Great interview, would be great to get Andy Thom over for a sit down
I'd like to see an interview with just Thom & Van Hooijdonk. Both had great chemistry.
I'd love to hear Thom. United Germany and he was the only East player in first 11. And that shot at Ibrox. Its still going.
Jorge reminded me of one of my favorite Celtic jokes "Aw naw! Naw Annoni on an aw noo" 😀
Hail Hail the Celtic and the women Celtic Hail Hail 📢🇮🇳🫶🙌🙌😄👍👌

I think they do like the club otherwise they wouldn't bother with these interviews.
EH? Worst take ive heard .
Jorge drinking Irn Bru. Legend! ❤☘
Only the cool kids drink Irn Bru! Great interview.

10/10 for the Keevins impression!
He did an extended version during the live event. Had us all in stitches 🤣
Is this the same as the one you put out a while ago paul with pierre and Jorge or is this different?
Maybe I picked up Jorge wrong, but I really don’t think Celtic offered him £25,000 a week. Or was he talking about Celta Vigo?
Brill!

Absolutely no time for PVH or Cadette.
Two guys who couldn't wait to get out of the club and who both spat the dummy during a crucial season

@@RobertGannon-x4u But at least in Di Canio's case, he's not going around 25 years later claiming Tommy Burns was like a father to him etc...
