Max kellerman saying Brady would be done at age 40. Brady would win another superbowl and have two seasons throwing over 40 TD passes with the Bucs after age 40.
There are absolutely legitimate arguments that can be made that Steph Curry is more valuable to a team than Lebron. Steph spearheaded the start of the Warriors dynasty when his other “Big 2” were a largely one dimensional Klay Thompson and an overrated Draymond Green. Meanwhile, back in Cleveland, Kevin Love, who was coming off a season averaging 26ppg, 12.5rpg, and shooting 38% from 3, was taking the blame for the Cavs struggles. I’m sorry, but as a Cleveland fan, I’m not terribly impressed with how difficult it was for Lebron and a STACKED Cavs team to beat that pre-KD Warriors. So when people lose their minds about putting Steph on the same tier as Lebron, it feels like a very basic “but his stats are better” kind of mentality. Bc when really analyzing it, Steph’s unlimited range and constant hustle and movement without the ball makes the game much easier for his teammates, especially when compared to guys like KLove, Chris Bosh, etc who struggle playing in the Lebron System. A system designed for one man to maximize 3 statistics, his easy layups, assists, and defensive rebounds that he can point to when the team underachieves “It wasn’t my fault, I had 28pts, 9 assists, and 10 rebounds.”
Exactly Just look if you swapped Steph and LeBron right now. The Lakers would be better the Warriors would be worse. If Curry had 5 it would mean more than LeBrons five because one wouldn't be a participation trophy bubble chip.

It doesn't make logical sense to put a player with less FMVPs, MVPs, all NBA teams and individual prowess over one that has more simply because of more rings and 2 of them the result of a broken superteam especially when Curry took years to be what he is and Lebron was mostly out the gate great at 18.
But Mad Dogg is not that blasphemous on Shaq. There are credible arguments to be made that the NBA both allowed people to abuse him in the post but that he also was guilty of dislodging (whatever way they phrased it back then) and committing offensive fouls on many of his points or positions down low. He was supremely agile for a man his size, great but not Hakeem-level great in the post. His weakness at the FT line also meant that he was vulnerable to being taken out of the clutch moments of games. Mad Dogg would be wrong to say he's not top 5. But I think what he meant is that he's not absolutely lock for being the best or even top 3. Jokic is already a much better player (admittedly in a physically weak era) and controls games without even scoring and is a top 5 passer of all time. Jokic is what Bill Walton could have been like if he never got hurt. Tim Duncan was listed at PF but was a C for most of his career, there is no practical difference between him and Shaq in terms of role played on the floor. Tim was a better player than Shaq.
