Just an addendum with regards to Winter Marth. His best B slot is likely to be Savvy Fighter 4 with Armored Beacon, as Armored Beacon covers for potential specials on the first hit, and Savvy Fighter providing Null Follow-Up which is relevant against more bulky units such as NY Askr and now Summer Ymir. This is important as the whole goal is to stop the nuke from taking Marth down to Maria's Miracle range, so any damage reduction makes that task significantly harder to achieve. Winter Marth is also available as a pick-up using an Otherworldly Bond as he is a Book 3 unit. Mine was built from scratch though so it is not as invested, but it is definitely adequate for SDS.
I wouldn't use armored Beacon on W!Marth just because he doesn't really have the defense for it. I could be wrong though I haven't tested it but he should perform better with his perf special
If there is a speed version for beacon or floe he would prefer that. But for now beacon is mainly used only for its defensive property as his def is marginally higher.
While I do think Shamir is a quite the insane nuke. I've noticed that even though she's specifically build to counter supports, all her debuffs just aren't enough to counter the sheer craziness that are supports right now (but she honestly isn't alone in that). Young and Legendary Eliwood, L!M!Robin, the Askrs, Peony and I'd personally probably group Gerik with his refine in with them as well right now. Penalty neutralization is such a valuable effect that I feel like many people don't give enough credit to. I've even dusted off my B!Fjorm last Astra season. Using one of the Eliwoods in combination with a unit that neutralizes Penalties pretty much makes your unit debuff-proof, while also granting +6 all stats (as long as you manage to get the +6 to Res from somewhere). The Resonance buffs Askr provides also shouldn't be overlooked, since they can't be negated by Lull skills. About L!M!Robin I feel kinda strange, while he's clearly an insane unit, Grand Strategy just isn't nearly as consistent as the buffs the other supports provide. You need to have Robin within two spaces of your unit, while also being kinda reliant on the team you are going up against. Still like I said, he's clearly quite the insane unit. So what I wanna say, you should probably talk about supports in your next Meta Report as I feel like they are pretty vital, especially for omni tanks right now and some like L!M!Robin or Duo Askr work insanely well on defense with Special Spiral 4 as well. And of course there's also F!Maria for defense. Another thing I personally would like to see mentioned in one of these meta reports in the future would be movement shenanigans in AR. You went into it a bit, when you talked about survivability on nukes. WoM4 is such an insanely good skill on AR-D to catch your opponent off guard. Also there's always stuff like Pathfinder and of course Guidance 4. Nowadays it feels like I almost exclusively lose games to some sort movement shenanigans I couldn't predict and suddenly L!Hinoka teleports behind my tank and snipes one of my supports.
That’s an excellent point on movement shenanigans. It goes with the theme we’ve been talking about in the discord: it’s more important to be annoying than it is to be good in AR. Units are so powerful, that you just can’t plan for everyone.
Shez and Shamir are very good. My +10 L!Chrom with the new refine is also bonkers now as a nuke. He has Ruptured Sky, A/S Finish 4, Lull S/D 4, A/S Oath 4, and the Heavy Blade 3 seal. His base attack is 72, with 40 Spd (thanks to a floret), and he kills everything I’ve thrown him up against so far - including my +10 Bedel near save queen. He also tanks a lot of units on enemy phase.
I think Ninja Camilla’s only weakness is sweep effects, so it sucks that she can’t have Null C-Disrupt. However, I gave my Fallen Byleth NCD 4 from an extra L!Guinevere I got and she is doing amazing with some extra spd support. Vantage is crazy good in AR-O.
you should try out winter marth in ar-O hes really good, what would make him even better would be if we can somehow give him a visible Null C disrupt Status, that would make him god tier
Finally someone noticed that Seliph's 41 base speed is catching up to him. With a boon he has 45, that's slower than a neutral speedster from the past 3 months. Also for Shamir, Fatal smoke naturally makes her anti Maria as life unending heals 0 afterwards. The idea is even if someone kills her, they will have basically 1 HP for the follow up lol. That said, I'm big on C fued for her in Anima Defense. Anti Maria and Elimine tank killer is nice when Embla and Bram aren't around.
To add to the new Magic NFU skill, Ascended Celica has been doing unusually well for me in light season under a catria ball with this skill. Plus built in Tempo, Miracle, and True Damage, she literally has everything going for her as long as she isn't getting outsped. I had a big issue with omnitanks who had access to Null-C or could just outright take the hit, she is just an amazing nuke all around.
@@FEH i tested lull 3 and Brash4, and shamir still survived basically everything at +0 with 5 flowers, +spd. So I used juicy RChrom stonks to get Lull4 onto her with a load of other premium skills just to max out the tank killing. I figured more killing, and didn't need the DR from BA4
With omnitanks specifically, things seem to be moving fast right now. The thing that will slow it down is the end to speed creep, but what does that even look like?
During Binding Worlds I got a W!Marth who was decked out with his PRF skills, A/S Unity + Far Save, and Savvy 4, I considered buying a bond for him but those things are so expensive.

I think you need to consider LEdel HNR/Galeforce since her remix/refine. It’s been some of the easiest clears I’ve had in a long time on ARO. Either with assault troop or paired with Alear.
Made a Duels meme team with Winter Marth where he has Spiral 4 and outsourced the Null Follow-up, while also bringing B!Catria or Winter!Cordelia to make him an annoying all rounder. With these new ideas i might bring it back but more refined, who knows
I’ve had +10 bramimon 4eva and want to ascend is speed stat and possibly give him mage null follow up with swift impact. I’ve also consider null-c 4/guard 4 with maybe remote sparrow to stack DR.
I don’t know if I’d double down on his speed. Who are you trying to double? If it’s omnitanks, he just won’t get there. If it’s saviors, then you should definitely do it.

Faced one this morning, and while my omni tank team would leave lanes open, my Bector team with robin + flayn can easily cover every lane and not die (mainly because she hard counters hinoka).. and my Bector team has seen a lot less action over the last few months due to the power of some new nukes Also I love my winter Marth.... But speed creep makes him less than reliable IMO... And mines +2 +spd speed stacked
Ive seen a few others also talk about how good shamir is but for me ive been underwhelmed, what builds are people using besides base kit, not having canto makes her feel like im sending her to her death every attack
I bow to your unit evaluation prowess. Celica is indeed a monster. The biggest thing with AoE seliph is, because there are so many dodge 4 omnitanks that outspeed him & have vital Astra, it doesn’t hit as hard. Combine that with units having dragon wall, and you really need a strong supplement right now. He’s CERTAINLY not unusable, but you used to design a team around him. Now, he’s a component.
Without aoe i just don’t like him as a standalone anymore; my favorite moment in my sdr run was f Maria face tanking a b seliph ^^‘ That aside, aoe b seliph with b Chrom and s Ephraim looks not bad at all as a core

Y'know, this meta report (because of Shamir) clearly shows the one thing I hate about playing AR nowadays. Everywhere it's Cav-line this, Cav-line that, it to me it feels extremely unfun to play against Cav-lines. I stopped playing AR in general because I stopped having fun, and IntSys keeps pushing those. I wish I had motivation to play AR again, it used to be fun pre-Embla, Veronica and Duo Elise days

On the topic of hex trap value, I've seen someone using a max invested L!Veronica (with an HP/Spd seal and quad mythic blessed) in a H&R team disabling a hex trap on my defense. They were really close to beating my team, but I'll give them props for knowing that HP is still an important stat. I wonder if IS is onto something with Ross's refine and the new T4 Boost skills....
The case of B!Seliph is honestly not really as dissapointing as it is frightening. He is still good. Great even. He isn't falling of because he is bad at all. It's simply due speed-creep. ...And that's scaary as *** once you let that sink in.

It’s more for the increased DR piercing but the other thought is he does have lul spd now and gets it from refine.
The Hex trap, as well as all the other traps, will eventually go up to 70 but i think they'll release a new trap type before then.

Finally some hit and run love. Done nothing but hit and run the last 2+ years. Its fun, its easy and it wrecks 90% of the defense maps out there.
Have you been using Hinoka at all?
@@FEH Nope. Had to use the spark on Seidr. Its mostly Yuri and Summer Edelgard along with another nuke.

I've been using this combo ever since b. seliph was launched. I also use hit n' run in b slot very often.🤔🤨🧐^^^
