'Donald Duck no Mahou no Boushi ("Donald Duck's The Magic Hat" or "Donald Duck in The Magic Hat") is a Super Famicom platformer that features the irascible Disney character Donald Duck as he first attempts to raise money to buy the eponymous magic hat for his girlfriend Daisy, and then gets involved in more misadventures due to the headwear.'
Played on Hard difficulty and included all the minigames at the beginning. For this one I used a patch which translates all texts in the game to English because the original Japanese dump was used for the existing longplay.

I find it funny that Donald Duck goes from doing part time jobs to earn money to buy a birthday present for Daisy to go on a crazy adventure by encountering an old man with a pointy hat who is a king. Back in the 90s Disney games have like crazy ideas that work.

What's funny is that Donald doesn't learn a trade skill that can get him job amywhere. Being a bum is not good for your long-term health.

Seems like a well made game with charming looking visuals and some cool mini-games. The only weird thing is Donald singing.
Looks pretty solid, aways wondered why is only jp. If I had a SNES back at the time, would probably had fun with it.
