I know how it feels and you are not exaggerating at all. I had six kids of my own but my baby finished school last year and all I can say is be good to yourself. Kids are not focused on our welfare yet, they are young and have their heads filled with kiddies' stuff. Hubby is working and I do believe most hubbies are there when possible but YOU are always there for YOU. Emotional exhaustion is real. Lots of love and prayers for you and all the other mommies out there.

My kids are back in school, I definitely miss them at home, but I do love the routine being back again. It’s the same way at our house during the summer we are completely off of our routine.

I think it's great to have Hank in preschool a few days. I could barely get anything done when my kids were babies. I'm laughing about the story of your daughters and their blankets being washed. My daughter is the age of your oldest and I literally need her approval to change the sheets lol.
So satisfying! This has to be my favourite part of the day when the kids go to school and I can just get stuck into that cleaning 🧼

Pro tip for any parents, this works through to adolescence! Double up on their mattress sheets. Do waterproof pad, sheet, waterproof pad, sheet, then if they get sick or have an accident in the middle of the night you can just rip off those top two and they have dry, clean sheets without you having to change the sheets at 2am. Saved me a couple times with my 2 1/2 year old since he was tiny. Then you can throw the sheets into the washer and deal with them in the morning ❤️

I just came across your channel. I love how you do not sugarcoat anything you don't make everything look like it is easy peasy all the time. You tell the truth you do not sugar coat it about how chaotic a mom's life can be.
I just don’t see the point in being fake and portraying a perfect life because no one’s life is no matter what it looks like. We all need to feel like we aren’t alone. 😊

1. Have a love/hate with school season… love my alone time…. Hate getting up before 6!
2. I used to stay up all night with my mind racing, but I changed many things. I drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning, that’s it. No more caffeine. I go to the gym 5 days a week for at least an hour. AND I learned this trick where you relax your entire body (everything!) and repeat “don’t think” and boom out in 2 mins!
3. That’s it! I’m wrapping you in bubble wrap! 🤣 I have those days too! Yesterday, I slammed my leg/ankle area into a machine, then proceeded to trip over another 😒😂❤
Why is it that on a day where I trip or hurt myself it just keeps happening? Lol

My little guy just started preschool twice a week, and all I can say is thank GOODNESS, lol!! I spent the whole first day shopping because it was just so liberating.
And you deserve that! We have to recharge. Being a woman in 2022 is A LOT.

I recently started putting a timer for 5 mins and having my kiddos clean up. it works well for my 5 year old. Make it a game, initially I help clean a little to help get momentum 🥰 it even works for me when I have no motivation 😆

We are back in school. It was tough getting back into a school routine/schedule. I wasn’t ready to give up summer either but am now starting ready for Fall, cooler temps, and comfy sweatshirts. I live in TN too so I feel ya on being over the hot weather. When school starts back, I am ready for cooler weather. I love the color of Hanky’s walls in his room. Can’t wait to see the new wall colors in your home!

I love the light rug under your dining room table. Looking into getting some in my house but I have small kids and a dog too. What are your favorite products/vacuum cleaners you use on your rugs? They look so good!
Thank you! I just use my Dyson cordless or my other upright corded vacuum but my thing with rugs is I won’t spend more than $200 on one and I throw out after 2-3 years. With dogs and pets that’s just how it goes.
I do the same thing when I'm trying to fall asleep and I'll write things down in Evernote so I don't forget!
i hear you when it comes to the kids....i have 8 (but 4 older ones who have moved out now) and four at home (12, 10, 7, and 6) and i'm definitely an older mom (48 this month 😯) and i'm struggling to keep up! my kiddies just went back to school yesterday and today i'm just trying to clean....not declutter, organize or anything else...just clean this week.....next week i'm starting room by room deep cleaning....and OMG....i didn't realize how bad my house is!!! i almost got eaten by a dust ball this morning!!! it's so overwhelming and with my age, i'm not as agile or quick as i used to be (brain acts like i'm 20, body says, hey remember me - here let me remind you! -lol) i have an hour left but i needed to take a break....looks like i'm not getting through the whole house before i have to go get them ugh....and chaos!!!! yes totally!!!! well wish me luck i can get the rest done before supper lol!! well, back to work, thanks for the video!
You are doing it the right way tho! I’m proud of you. I always say that you need to clean and tidy a room BEFORE you declutter, deep clean or organize! It makes it easier. You’ll get it done and just do what you can :)

Was so ready for this video after the long weekend! I definitely wasn't ready to get out of summer mode for school to start back, I miss my little so much while he is there! Also when school starts back I had about 2 months until due with #2 (october) and not ready there either lol
I probably have said it before but I got leather couches (it's a mix material) after watching your videos. I love that you can wash them and clean them. I had tweed before and it smelled weird from time to time. Definitely agree getting washable stuff is the way to go if you have pets. Or an accident prone husband 😅

Girl I'm with on going over things at night when i get into bed. I even leave a pad and pen on my bedside table to write stuff down so i dont forget. And I'm also guilty with the mom guilt too.

You should get the rechargeable lighter for your candles, etc. I do that stuff to, somedays you're just like, What is happening. My goal one day is to have a wet/dry vac/mop.
I have it but if I’m being honest I don’t love it. Maybe I just need to get used it it.
We are all different, use which one you like. Maybe use the one you like but tip the candle with your other hand. I know filming one handed you can't. Hopefully no more burns. Have a GREAT day. It is beautiful here,Hopefully there too.

Yes and I love it. It’s so comfy. Yes I’ve laid in there on it 🤣 the Kyte baby sleep sacks are so expensive but really worth it. Just invest in two and you’ll be set and order a size up if you want to keep it longer. You can always have extra material for them to grow.
