- This is a story of the long battle over the urban-type settlement of Novoselivske of the Luhansk Oblast in which the Bravo company of the 1st Battalion of the International Legion took part. Extensive shelling and non-stop assault by the russians left the place completely in shambles. But even among the flaming ruins there were those who stood strong.

Esta es la historia de la batalla en el terreno urbano de Novoselivske, en el Oblast de Luhansk. En este enfrentamiento, la compañía Bravo del 1er Batallón de la Legión Internacional fue una de las implicadas en su liberación. Grandes bombardeos de artillería y un no parar de intentos de asalto por parte de los rusos dejaron el lugar irreconocible. Pero incluso durante los momentos más duros hubo quien se mantuvo fuerte y luchó.

To see these brave selfless huge hearted and resilient young men offer their lives and well being in defense of another nation is humbling in the extreme. Once the war is won Ukraine will be faced with the unprecedented task of rebuilding not only its villages, towns and cities but also its communities, farms and social framework. It is there that I hope to contribute. Respect and hopes that you stay safe, lads.

I missed another chance to fight for freedom. Too young for Vietnam, too old for the gulf war and Afghanistan, but those conflicts weren’t as righteous as this war. I like to think If was a young man again I would be there.

Anyone else from scandinavia with military experience on the edge of joining? I havent slept good since feb 22, felt the calling.. But i also thought it was a question of time until nato had boots on the ground, i mean it's not like any other political isolated conflict with two bad sides, it's a developed country in a conquering war, it cant end until one side lose, either the free world or russia.. But western leaders have shown to have no spine apparently, and tyranny is spreading without consequences and country borders are losing their value.. Contact me if you're also on the edge and want to be in a platoon with nordic language etc..

I thought about maybe starting a facebook group, where we could gather all we come accross online, who speak somewhat the same language, and has experience. Any thoughts about that? Im hesitant to just blindly volenteer without knowing what im joining. I remember the first days there were really bad contracts on the table, dont know what its like now though..
