Ja Morant went off. 3 guesses who is primary defender would've been. Brooks' absence is inconsequential since Steph and Klay had terrible games regardless. But if Payton doesn't leave, maybe Morant scores 7 points less and no one steps up to cover those 7 points. Just saying.
I tend to disagree with Chuck saying it is not intentional. Brooks play ball most of his life, he knew the it isn’t safe. It doesn’t make sense if Brooks does not understand the risk and outcome on what he did as a basketball player. GP2 is running and jumping and you chase him and bump him. That’s a no brainer - intentionally dirty
Nice takeout of Ja's primary defender (Young glove Payton) by irrelevant Brooks in the first 3 mins of the game. Props to Ja for taking advantage of the others trying to defend him.
I don't know if that foul by Brooks on Payton was intentional but it looked like Brooks swung hard. Payton gonna be out for a while now and Brooks only misses the rest of the game. A broken elbow is serious, I could end Payton II career. I know all about elbow injuries, they suck.
No draymond literally did the same thing last game. Brooks went for the ball and hit his head, it’s unfortunate gp2 got hurt but the same thing could have happened to Clarke last game

It's sports entertainment at this point. Draymond grabs a board over Ja with a minute left its 100-99 Warriors ball, momentum shifting bad call its a 3 point swing. Warriors didn't shoot well enough to win but a lifeless FedEx arena for half of the game got there money's worth and that extra game in Memphis is worth millions.
📈💵💸🤦🏽♂️‼️
Ja Morant is one of the most incredible young talents the nba has ever seen.
God bless that young man, it’ll be amazing to see his career grow.
I hope he doesn’t run into injuries like Derrick Rose but I feel like his style is less explosive and in turn less damaging on his knees and ankles.
Ja is also cocky af. Walking pass steph and talk smack. What an idiot. I used to like him. But I dont mind him having short career now.
”Thats a travel”
Ernie: thats walking in Memphis
🤣🤣
That was a good one!
No Need to panic. A little bit more from Thompson and a little bit less from Morant and the Warriors are there...as long as the Grizzlies don't injure Curry.
If the bears injure Curry, it's open season on Ja Morant.
“They put it in a thoroughbred top America.” 🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
Honestly this game may be good news for GS outside of GP II injury. On the road, Steph and Klay shot MISERABLY, Draymond got hurt and was out for a bit, Ja exploded with 47, and the game still went down to the wire. Sounds like Warriors in 5 or 6 to me.
Hopefully the refs continue to call the game heavily in favour of the hometeam and some Grizzlies get injured.
Ya tough night for the warriors. When will they ever win a championship.
Grizz in 5 or 6. No Dillon who is the Grizzlies best perimeter defender and 3rd leading scorer. Bane only 5 pts its over with for GS
Nah it’s gonna be close
@@azwanazmi1484 Don't know if you're being serious, but why would you hope for players to get injured? Don't you want to say that your team beat the other team at full strength? If key Grizzlies players get injured, there's still gonna be doubt about whether dubs are better than Memphis.
I've nothing but love for the inside crew.
Safe to say the last seconds on Ja foul is really questionable. That gives Memphis 3 point lead.
NBA wanted Memphis to win this game. If they go down 0-2 it woulda have been a sweep for the Warriors going home for the next 2 games.
Exactly.. People blindly ignored it.. Wiggins barely touched him on a waist and ref called it.. They're fucking ruining the game.. GSW lost because of their own bricks.. Shot horribly from 3. I hope they recover soon from this.
Yeah losers
Definitely questionable, but it’s not like it doesn’t happen every season lol. Every team has benefited from a questionable call. And a 3 pt lead is still manageable when you have Steph Curry on the team.

If Ja can get an all start teammate to support him like Pippen did to Jordan, they are going to be crazy team.
Quite honestly, Grizzlies deserved this win and I think they’re going to be very tough to beat over 7 games. I think they’ve got this.

For no reason? Like WTF?
With the dirty play yeah they deserved it lmao! Those fans don’t deserve shot either
Hate that we lost GP2 - the defense and energy he provides is what we def. need for the Chip!

Why all forget that Memphis dont have Steve Aquaman Adams, who was leader in offensive rebounds?
He ain't all that man lol
Adams is not a good perimeter defender. That's why you didn't see him in the Minnesota series. He would be exposed versus the Warriors' small ball & death lineups, so don't expect to see him anytime soon. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Warriors don’t have Wiseman either who would block shots and rebound.

GP2 didnt play the rest off season cause fracture injury tho
None of the role players for Memphis shot well either. You GS fans need to stop acting like this series is a gimme cause if Ja made that layup last game (which he typically makes) GS would be down 2-0.

Grizzlies took out GPII for a reason. Once the injury report is out, Ja needs to watch out for his knees on the next game.

I love how Chuck is always complaining about how late it is, I be falling asleep trying to stay up & watch these late games.
Yo, Ernie. Memphis lost Dillon Brooks to a Flagrant 2 but, you know what? The guy he fouled left the game too. Gary Payton II had to leave due to injury and, guess what? Ja Morant went off. 3 guesses who is primary defender would've been. Brooks' absence is inconsequential since Steph and Klay had terrible games regardless. But if Payton doesn't leave, maybe Morant scores 7 points less and no one steps up to cover those 7 points. Just saying.
😂😂
I tend to disagree with Chuck saying it is not intentional. Brooks play ball most of his life, he knew the it isn’t safe. It doesn’t make sense if Brooks does not understand the risk and outcome on what he did as a basketball player. GP2 is running and jumping and you chase him and bump him. That’s a no brainer - intentionally dirty
Nice takeout of Ja's primary defender (Young glove Payton) by irrelevant Brooks in the first 3 mins of the game. Props to Ja for taking advantage of the others trying to defend him.

Chuck "That stuff they stick in horses 🐎 I had them stick in my a couple of times" ⚰💀 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't know if that foul by Brooks on Payton was intentional but it looked like Brooks swung hard. Payton gonna be out for a while now and Brooks only misses the rest of the game. He get to play in the next one. I think when a foul like that is committed whoever did it should be out as long as the person they fouled or injured. A broken elbow is serious, I could end Payton II career. I know all about elbow injuries, they suck.
I think a 10game ban with or without injury would be better

Hopefully the Warriors bring some out of air and elbow takeouts to the fight and then the refs continue to call the game heavily in the hometeams favours.
@Roy. This series will go 6 or 7. Also, Memphis is capable of stealing a game on the road. GS's experience gives them the upper hand. However, you can't give a young and hungry team like Memphis confidence. If Bane gets hot along with Morant, look out!
