The fight felt too isolated imo because of that. And unfortunately I only started reading Bleach after halfway through reading Vagabond, so no, that manga raised the bar too high for any art work to be considered a masterpiece aesthetically speaking. The thing Bleach great at imo is the character designs, its on par with pre-shippuden Naruto and even Jojo.

This was my first anime ever. I started watching this in middle school. I am rewatching this with my younger brother who is 11 years younger than me and he loves it.
