Yeah. They always release maybe 20% of big claimers in the first batch and then slowly start printing out more and more claimers as the months go by to ensure people keep buying them. Otherwise, if they literally at random sent out all the 150 one million dollar claimers with all the other tickets that would be too risky for the lottery as a business. They need to make sure people keep buying these tickets for at least the next couple of years and the only way to do that is to make sure not all the big claimers can be won by chance/accident too soon.
I won 5 grand on an emerald mine 10 days ago ,on a friday at the same store I chased a 50 dollar blue ticket and lost 9 in a row.Went back and bought 1 blue 1 orange 50......The next day I went back and the clerk told me the next person on the orange 50 ticket hit for 20 grand.........talk about a punch to the gut.
It's definitely not randomized as it's done by a computer and by definition computers can not do things completely randomly. There are tons of patterns you can follow here in FL, just like anywhere else. The most obvious one is the one where you track the book/pack numbers and you can pretty much guarantee there will be a certain number of big claimers every 40,000 books etc. If things were truly completely random, then the lottery would be taking a massive chance of losing money because all the big claimers could show up in the first few dozen thousand books and everybody would stop buying that ticket so they'd be left with a million unsold books lol.

Even the delivery of those books to retailers all over the state is not random, but there is a specific company that does it and they are given the encrypted file that tells them where the big winners are and what stores to deliver them to. The company is given clear orders on that, so yeah, nothing is random.
