Einmal im Jahr findet in Pratteln in der Schweiz ein Internationales Dampftreffen statt. Dieses Jahr bereits zum 17.mal, jeweils vom Freitag bis Sonntag.
Die Aufnahme entstand am Samstag, den 23.07.2011, bei recht angenehmen Wetterbedingungen.
Viel Spass beim Anschauen.

@WoelkerVideo Die Gegend hat sich total verändert, bis auf die Ysebähnli. Gegenüber war früher eine Wiese oder Acker. Heute ist dort ein Containerterminal und ein Logistikunternehmen. Ich war dort zu letzt vor etwa 4 Jahren, aber ohne Cam. Zu der Zeit stand man auf dem Acker, bei Sonderanlässen. Letztes Wochenende konnte man aber halb offiziell am Strassenrand parkieren. Ich bin grad nach dem Regen los und war schon früh dort, so fand ich noch ein Plätzchen! :)

How many horsepower these engines have to pull all the weight of passengers?
I'm sorry, I don't know.
+Phil Lowery In the case of the electric Diesel models, they range from .125 hp per axle up to .55 hp per axle so the FP45 model shown could have been in the .75 to 3.3 hp range. With 3.3 hp you could pull up to 5 tons. 10 hp if gasoline powered would pull about the same. When I was employed building them, 1 loco with 2.2 hp battery powered could pull 10 loaded cars with passengers. Battery powered with the 22 amp/24V .55 hp motors could be run for a time at up to 4 times the rated current without harm.
With a steam engine, you can figure in the 1 hp range to about 4 hp depending on type and scale. Steam locos require speed to produce hp whereas the Diesel models develop it almost down to 0 mph.

Warum liegt oftmals Streckenweise ein 3.Gleiß mit dabei?
Das habe ich auch schon ganz oft bei LGB gesehen.
So können Züge mit verschieden Spurweiten auf dem gleichen Kurs fahren. Das gibt es sogar bei der großen Bahn.
