This week on The Bad Batch:
Hunter and Wrecker go to Florida.
I think the Milky Way galaxy still has the weirdest Florida.
"Florida-man, Florida-man. Does whatever an idiot can."
To the Spider-Man tune, of course. And I live in Florida.
Did I miss the flip phone being activated?
No visit to Disney though.
Crosshair and omega: sit on some rocks
And fennec Shand makes her quiet return
More like NOLA
The last time Omega grew close to a member of the crew we all got our hearts broken, I’ve got a bad feeling about this
same
All of us ? Tech was annoying and a scape goat for bad writing, since his obvious demise the show had moved next level. His character whilst the beginning was interesting he was done dirty by poor writing.
Tech arc in the clone wars and first few episodes was great and he performed admirably in a few “filler” episodes but cmon his fate wast destined from season 2 episode 3.
I really love the scene where Hunter, after seeing Omega feels left out when told to stay back, gave her a task (help crosshair). This is something a father or big brother would do to make their kid/young sibling still feel important. Its such a nice touch, and it really shows how hunter has evolved. Him 1-2 seasons ago would just have kept explaining how dangerous it would be out there.
Just a minor thing, but seeing crosshair opening up more and more to omega and admitting his flaws is really heartwarming.
Crosshair's dry voice and deadpan looks are everything! I absolutely love his and Omega's relationship, and him hearing that he's missed out on so many adventures with all of them really gets to him....
I think we're building up to a big hero moment for Crosshair where it's up to him to take an impossible shot and he'll be forced to confront his demons and finally get his precision back.
Surprised to see quite a few negative comments about this episode, I really enjoyed it. I liked the fact that Crosshair and Omega got more character development without the Empire or some generic space monster attacking them on the island.
Fennec Shand came across as a ruthless bounty hunter who has something of a code but won’t hesitate to work for the highest bidder; her character acted more like Boba Fett than Boba Fett did.
I can see why people might think that it was a “side quest” or “filler”, but it does at least drive the main story forward by getting the Bad Batch closer to finding out the Empire’s plan. As long as the future “key” episodes continue to smash it out the park like they have done this season, I don’t mind the occasional change of pace like this.
First we got space Miami. Now we have space Everglades.
Wonder what would be the Star Wars equivalent of the "Yoink Guy"
The scene where Omega was trying to help Crosshair meditate--in other words, using the teachings she used from the Jedi Padawan back in Season 2--was utter gold. Even after Crosshair betrayed the Jedi, their teachings might just end up helping him just before the bitter end.
I have a feeling that Fennec is contacting either Boba Fett or Ventress to help the Bad Batch I don’t think the writers will have her betray the Bad Batch to a more evil bounty hunter like Cad Bane so she is more in line with how she is in Book Of Boba Fett.
I'm thinking it's Ventress since the last time we saw Boba (in the timeline), Ventress had tied him up and tossed him inside a trunk while she escaped with the young girl they were supposed to deliver. I doubt Boba and Ventress would be working together on anything, and we know Ventress will be making an appearance.
As much fun as it could be, bringing Boba in now would be more likely to pause or derail the story unless it was handled very carefully. The Batch would recognize him as a clone if they saw his face, starting a whole host of new questions and issues between the characters, and we don't yet know when in the Disney era he starts wearing the Mandalorian armor.
I dont think a boba fett appearance would be too bad
They'd try to get him to help Rex w the cause, he'd reject, they'd wonder why and he'd explain his reasons. It wouldn't have to "derail" anything, lol it could Def resolv within an episode
Idk if they will tho
@JoRoq1
Can’t be Boba. They haven’t met until The Mandalorian. Boba will probably arrive and fight Cad and Ventress for Omega though, especially when he realizes that she’s basically his sister and Jango’s unaltered daughter. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly style duel. Maybe Boba will join Ventress and wreck Cad, not killing him, but putting him out of commission for awhile, sending him escaping into exile.
@@cloudmaster182The potential derailment would come from spending at least one episode focused on Boba when there are only 8 total left, and a lot of story still to build up and wrap up. At a certain point, a story has to impose limits on how broad a cast and the related elements can be included while still maintaining a coherent arc.
Fennec works here because she's already part of the show. Ventress works because she is already established as a character who can come in and leave to fill a particular role in a story, and has no other connection to any of the main characters that would need to be explored. Boba's existence as a fellow clone would require parking on that issue for a bit, to the detriment of the momentum of the story arc.
I'm not saying it would be impossible to add Boba, just that it would take a very skilled writer to handle it. We haven't seen much evidence of a writer that skilled on Lucasfilm's animation staff (or on most of the live-action shows). This would be a very late point to bring in Boba (season 2 would have been the best time, IMO), as everything is pushing towards the finale. There just is not room for that large of a sidebar in the remaining time unless it is truly essential to the resolution.
@@HappinessPunch777 We actually were never told they never met if they did meet then it would make sense if you take into account that he has the exact same face as every Clone, before Book of Boba he rarely removed his helmet and that he was presumed dead could explain why she could not recognize him. Plus we know that she knows what a clone looks like so she has to at least know that Boba was a clone.
Well, I guess we now have planet Florida in Star Wars, and it appears we probably won't be seeing fat Mace Windu any time soon.
More like louisiana
Hooray for more generic monster fights in this tiresome show
@@dancingvalkyrie cope
The bog water running off their armor looks really, really good. This whole episode just looked magnificent.
Except how pitch black some of it was lol
I agree that it felt more like a calm before the storm. Halfway point of the season on the heels of a double release last week. Clearly just paving the way for the finale and an eventful second half of the season
I loved the relationship between Fennec Shand and the Bad Batch
This is not a filler episode, it does move the plot along as the batch try to figure out why Omega is so valuable to Empire. It does use it’s more formulaic style to do the episode, but this week the Batch are closer to discovering what they want to know, than they were after last week’s episodes.
That ending music when Fennec Shand was talking to the hologram was similar to Ventress' theme. She is definitely coming soon.
I actually really like the touch that the Bad Batch don't quite know what an M count is. I mean, most Star Wars stories we follow in this franchise (in the movies and TV shows at least) follow Jedi or other Force users so of course they would know what that is. But this bring up the question, how much do regular people know? Like, in the Clone Wars we see that bounty hunters like Cad Bane know what a Sith is and about Jedi holocrons though that's probably just information Palpatine provided when he hired him.
I can imagine Jedi might not reveal a lot to ordinary people during their heyday and after Order 66 and all their knowledge being lost, restricted or forced underground it's even more mysterious.
I was very happy that Crosshair's problem wasn't immediately solved in this episode. It will make the payoff so much better when he finally does make that crucial shot or when he does something heroic even still with his shaky hand.
I don't know about anyone else, but I thought it was really cool getting to see a Huk on-screen for the first time since... I think since A New Hope, actually.
Other than that, I think it's pretty much guaranteed this episode is gonna lead into Asajj's big return. What that means exactly, I don't know.
And once again, Omega and Crosshair's relationship in this episode is just spot-on. When they had that little exchange about Kashyyyk, I couldn't help but be reminded of the canceled The Clone Wars arc where Yoda and the Bad Batch actually went to Kashyyyk. I'm sure that was zipping through Crosshair's mind during the conversation, him thinking back on "the good old days." And that final meditation scene between them was pretty good too. Omega was really channeling some Jedi energy (metaphorically speaking) during that scene, and who else thought that last shot of the two of them was just great?
Overall, a pretty solid episode, and I am very curious about what the next episode, "The Harbinger" is gonna be about. Have a great day, and I'll see you next week!
I see by some of the comments again calling this episode a filler, well I disagree. We have seen in this season, that episodes previously called filler have had significance to the overall story. My case in point is the episode on raxus and the one where Cid had her bar taken over by Durrant, has been referenced in the final season. This episode is again going to have significance in the overall ending of The Bad Batch, I'm sure of it.
I thought it was a good exposition episode. A nice balance between telling and showing not telling. I was leaning towards Fennec contacting Cad at the end of the episode. Definitely a nice little mystery for next week. I thought that was kind of odd how Phee casually mentioned Tech as well. The banter between Fennec, Hunter, and Wrecker was interesting. The dynamic building between Crosshair and Omega was definitely the episodes strong point. I am leaning towards the two of them be the last ones standing as well.
I feel like they missed an opportunity to have the bounty be someone who was a good guy rather than a typical cardboard cut out bad guy. At least that would have given hunter and wrecker a moral dilemma when they have to decide between doing the right thing and omega.
There isn’t enough time left in the series for adding another moral dilemma to the story. This part needed to be resolved in short order, so they can move on with the plot line this episode started.
Plus, a “good guy” target wouldn’t be enough of a threat to make Fennec want meat shields. That target had to be someone devious and unscrupulous enough to give her pause and honestly consider whether she could survive the hunt alone.
@@JoRoq1 Fair points
Crosshair is the best character of the show. He has depth. By now even Wrecker has more depth than Hunter, who is sadly underused. Omega is just too saintly. On another note, whatever is the issue with animating fighting in the dark? I remember the times when animations solved the issue more elegantly. It should be obvious to the watcher that it's dark without us actually straining our eyes to see. We are not supposed to struggle with seeing - only characters are. I also disliked the mysterious conversation at the end that has been overused so much. Like, we know it's probably Asajj.
Agreed, Echo may be my favorite (yea I’m a bit biased since I basically grew up with him in TCW) but objectively speaking, Crosshair is the best character in the show
Hunter and Wrecker are just meh, while Crosshair has been the MVP of the series imo. Honestly wouldn’t mind if they offed Hunter and Wrecker in the finale, and Crosshair escaped with Omega and Batcher. They’re definitely showing a strong bond between Crosshair and Batcher. Killing Crosshair off would be a big mistake imo. Hunter and Wrecker are somewhat expendable characters. Crosshair on the other hand is one of the top 3 greatest clones in Star Wars, and so unique and different than the rest. Jango actually would’ve really liked and respected Crosshair imo.
I'd give Crosshair a whole revenge arc after the rest of them are killed. Except for Omega, as dull as she is for me, I don't see her getting killed neither would I want to.@@HappinessPunch777
Me after hearing the term “M-count” in Mando once “Oh, midichlorians.”
Clones after serving with Jedi for three or four years during the Clone Wars “Duh…what’s an M-count?”
Well Rex mentioned he’d heard it before, but I doubt Anakin or other Jedi gave him an explanation on what they really are. The Bad Batch were spec ops that didn’t serve under Jedi so it makes sense that they’ve never heard the term at all.
When Fennick said I never go in water I couldn't help but think of Apocalypse Now and Chef saying NEVER GET OFF THE BOAT MAN NEVER GET OFF THE BOAT!!! And is it me or did that space station look like a space dock? From some other Federation um franchise? Lol
I think Crosshair and Omega's friendship is shaping up to be one of the stronger arcs in Star Wars. It's not that complex and I think most adult fans of the show could see it coming, but it all feels earned. It will hurt me too see either make it to the end the series without the other now that we know a happy ending is a genuine possibility for the whole crew.
Every time they show Pabu this year, we don't see anyone, just the Bad Batch and the medical droid. Where is everyone on the island? The "M Count" puzzlement seems a bit silly to me too and why Fennec would help them with that, I don't know. Crosshair and Omega's storyline was the best part. Helping Fennec really didn't thrill me and dear God but the screen was so DARK when they were in the swamp! The graphics, other than that, looked even more exceptional than normal this week, I don't know if they tweaked them or what, but everyone looked good, except the dark swamp part. I'm quite sure Fennec contacted Ventress at the end of the episode. Who else could it really be? She probably wouldn't be working with Imperials, she hasn't met Boba Fett yet (he would be a teenager at this point), Cad Bane hates her, and the Kaminoans are all dead or in Imperial custody. I suspect Ventress is trying to find Quinlan Voss or perhaps helping with 'The Path' and Fennec's words to her were meant to make us think she was turning them into the Imperials, where actually she was letting Ventress know for some reason that we should find out next week. I could be wrong; we'll see.
Where'd you get "Fenric" from? 😂
I believe Wolffe wrote a report concerning his encounter with Rex, but much like Rex’s report on fives it got buried. One day down the road after wolffe defects vader sees this report and that’s why he goes to the venators to see if Ahsoka survived as well. Yet more of a reason for Ahsoka to leave both of her sabers behind, it makes it look like rex buried her along side the clones
this feels like the first part of an arc which I think will end with the next 2 part in 2 weeks. It seems to be about discovering the purpose of omega’s creation. One of the episodes is called identity crisis and in one of the trailers omega said “I need to know what I am.”
I think after 7 big episodes, I expected a filler episode but it’s definitely not awful like that.
I personally really enjoyed this episode. I'm from Southern Mississippi and the bayous are right up the road so I loved the references, they even nailed the boats. I personally felt like this was better than Episode 4 of this season, and I love the ctosshair stuff
I yelled at the TV when Hunter put his foot down on Omega coming along, "Give her something to do". I guess he heard me.
I really really hate how dark the visuals are. I get it, artistic representations of the dark times, blah, blah, blah - the Harry Potter movies did this, so Star Wars got to do it too - but I don't turn off the lights when I watch TV. When there are no lightsabers, they really need to turn on the ambient lights.
The Cross Hair and Omega plot was nice. I don't really care for the "it's all in your head trope", but it is nice to see Cross Hair building a relationship.
Totally agree about the Omega+Crosshair plot being the more interesting of the two from this episode. I'm excited to see Asajj Ventress return as I just finished reading Dark Disciple and I'd go as far to say Asajj is my favourite character from The Clone Wars excluding Ahsoka. I really enjoyed her evolution across the show and it was great to read more about her in the novel.
The bog planet reminded me of Quesh, with the esthetic, the toxic atmosphere, the hostile wildlife, etc.
Solid episode. I liked how they gave Wrecker a little bit more real characterisation. It was subtle, but there, and nice. Also, Fennec was in no position to be throwing shade about Hunter and Wrecker's abilities. She had her target cornered and at gunpoint, and still got pushed into a river.
I would've liked it if Hunter and Wrecker put there foot down a bit when Fennec said "actually about that deal we had...". Probably wasn't viable with time constraints, but it would've gone a long way to make the two of them feel like less of a pushover when it comes to dealing with people, especially Wrecker.
A good episode, but a 'transition' episode to set up the next few episodes, like you said. Fennec uses the Bad Batch to fetch a bounty and takes into account the clues that are being revealed to her by Hunter and Wrecker without giving them hardly any information in return. Got a feeling that she cashes in on information about Hunter, Wrecker and, ultimately, Omega as well, which is probably what the next few episodes will be about. However, she will keep her word on her *contact*, which probably refers to Ventress, as you have indicated, and get Ventress in touch with the Bad Batch. Fennec is such a double dealer here, exactly the same as when we find her in The Mandalorian. But after Boba saves her life (something Omega would do as well), she is loyal to Boba Fett, which seems like a 180 degree change for Fennec in some ways. Saving the sharpshooters - first Omega saves Crosshair, and later Boba saves Fennec. Would be interesting if those two meet - Fennec and Crosshair - first loyal to the mission or themselves, and later loyal to others. Do they ever find out how much loyalty really means to them? (Crosshair and Fennec Shand) To the point where their life focus is changed? Omega and Boba are alike is so many ways, and yet very different in the values and world views that they have accepted. But perhaps as Omega grows up, she becomes more like Boba. We don't really get to see much of Boba at Omega's age, so perhaps they have parallel life paths? We'll see.
Crosshair has the same anxiety issue as Tom Hanks character in Saving private Ryan. He’s been through a lot and he always tries to be the strong guy but he needs to talk to someone before it becomes a much larger issue. PTSD is no joke and it’s hard to talk about it 😅 a lot of my friends in the fire service all have some form of it so it’s a no brainer for me to notice it in Crosshair
I liked the interactions with Crosshair and Omega. It is nice to see them bonding. I liked the Fenic showed up that was great and them working together. Can't wait for episode 9 now. Everything seems to be coming together.
If it is Ventress then we can easily assume she is saving them from the Empire. The question is whether or not she is doing it in conjunction with Quinlan and the Hidden Path. Because who doesn't want to see Asajj and Quinlan in the next Jedi: game :)
Regarding M-count information being hard to obtain, i think its quite simple, Palpatine and the Empire ensured anything related to the Jedi has been purged and made illegal
I agree it wasn't the best episode so far, but at the same time I guess they needed to stop for a while. Croshair needed the time to heal - and to be honest, I still don't know if he did already. And without Tech, they needed some contacts to help them get information.
So, I think it was kinda inevitable... Let's see what they do with it.
This was a nice breather episode that still moved things forwads, especially after the last 2 being more streamlined and intesnse.
It's the crosshair and rex squad show for me those are the characters that are really active imo
I agree Phee is too cavalier when she mentions Tech. Thought she would show some remorse. Enjoyed this bad batch in the Bayou. More monsters for Wrecker. I get frustrated with Hunter with some of his choices. Come on he's trusting Fennec after he almost killed her on Pantora.I did like the Zen yoga moments on Pabu with Omega and Crosshairs.
So this wasn’t the most exciting episode but I still think it’s great! And it did a great job of showing the character Growth of Wrecker and Hunter, I feel like Clone Wars era of the Bad Batch would have been all for Shand’s mission and not worry about the risk, but now they r weathered former soldiers who have been through alot! Their armor reflects this too. They have lost so much, Tech permanently, and Omega and Crosshair temporarily, and they don’t want to lose Omega again
It takes 2 for a romance, Phee in the beginning mighta had something for dukes, but it wasn't no romance!!!
I believe it is called a kyuzo petar. The blade, that is.
My first thought after Fennec's rather shady contact with "somebody" who apparently mightmight've been interested about a couple of clones on a somewhat unusual investigation was that this "somebody" was Boba Fett... but they meet each other for the first time in Mando S1. right...?
character development is not filler
We finally got to see another planet where the atmosphere isn't breathable to most people.
Meanwhile fennec is still wearing a helmet with a slot in it
@@fulcrumagent she didn't say the atmosphere would hurt their eyes.
@@CloneScavengerVulpin8389do you not know how air works?
@@fulcrumagent i will admit she should have worn some goggles.
The planet's unbreathable atmosphere reminds me of Pandora from James Cameron's Avatar films, although the planet's atmosphere is either naturally toxic or became that way due to air pollution originating from the planet's industrial complex (i.e. factories, oil rigs, refineries, etc.).
I like to call these investor episodes, you invest your time into it and thought the episode itself doesn't necessarily pay off the set ups, the episodes that come after will, ie: Fennecs info and crosshairs hand healing,
Ps: WHY SO LITTLE ECHO
I actually weirdly liked this episode more than the last one. This episode had consequences for choices. It showed Rex losing his squad was a meaningful loss. That attempting to stick their neck out to find out about Mcounts risks them being betrayed. That it isn't so easy to recover from mental issues. That lack of consequence I felt was lacking from previous episodes.
the dark scenes looked pretty good on my screen, but i have a pretty expensive display, so its unfortunate they didnt come across well on all screens. but i wouldnt say it was out of being cheap, just not thinking about all viewing environments.
I don't have any issues with the image being too dark. Looks nothing like the screenshot you showed. I can clearly see all the details.
I know this episode seems like filler, but when you think about it, I don't think it should be an easy endeavor for the squad to figure out what an M-count is. It should be a difficult adventure ro figure out even a small detail.
0:45 there’s only 15 episodes this season 😔
To use a volleyball metaphor I home this is the bump episode and next week we get the set for the spike in ep10
I liked this one, I do prefer having some filler, it make more fun small stories in between bigger episodes
It would be logical for Fennec Shand to explain to Hunter and Wrecker how she intends to pay them. She should have told them that it would take time to retrieve the information. It doesn't make sense to keep a couple of powerful and possibly dangerous soldiers in the dark, just so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings.
That’s not how the underworld works. She knew they wouldn’t kill her because they needed her. And she didn’t lie to them, she just didn’t elaborate and let them make their own assumptions. She fully intends to fill her end of the bargain, as she has a bit of a soft spot for Omega, but she also wants to find out for herself if there is any opportunity for her to profit from the information.
Things I hated in this episode: the fact that it was a filler, Shand being utterly annoying
Things I liked in this episode: Crosshair and Omega acting realistic and mature, Wrecker being Wrecker
Not filler. Some of you fans need to realize that if you looked at certain chapters in Lord of the Rings in a vacuum, they would appear as filler too
"Why show us Aragorn and his friends chasing the Uruk Hai if they don't end up rescuing the Hobbits anyway? Tolkien filler"
Can’t they look it up on space google what M-count means? Based on the fact that it’s a known organelle kind of
I dont think midichlorians are widely available knowledge. And existing databases about them were probably deleted or altered by the Empire after the purge
I'm going to call it the bridge between the gap
Regarding the animation, this is at least the second time this season where the characters noticeably have their faces (and mouths) covered. Crosshair’s stolen helmet covered his mouth for no reason in the gambling episode. And now we have the first planet in the Star Wars universe with a toxic atmosphere. They’re saving money.
the more she keeps showing up, the more Fennec Shand keeps climbing the ranking of my favorite Star Wars characters of the Disney era, right now in the top 3
I’m glad my name is a mantis bounty hunter in star wars
It was definitely Ventress. They even played part of her theme.
The only issue I have with the episode was the B-plot, which I found kind of boring, but perhaps it will lead to something significant later on. At least for once, Omega was told "No" in no uncertain terms. Beyond that, it was clearly setting the stage for them determining what the significance of Omega and her M-count is. It was the least of this season's episodes but still a good one.
Turn your screen brightness up. God damn!
This was a good episode that allowed us to continue the main story and had payoff with earlier episodes. Imo the main problem isn't this episode, it's people not having the attention span anymore to watch slower episodes that are more invested in continuing character arcs and the story over being action packed.
Heck, we had to wait almost 3 years for those "filler" episodes in season 1 to have payoff, what's wrong with setting up plot points for episodes that are coming with season 3?
I think that fi is still sad about tech..she doesn't sound as happy and snappy as she did before but I think she's just trying to carry on as tech would want her too.
The Emperor tried too, then had Asajj killed because of her force abilities. And most wiped out the witches.
I dont see her handing over force sensitive kids to the Empire.
I'm not seeing why people are complaining about the show being too dark... watch it in a dark room or turn up your brightness. I didn't have any issues with this or any of the previous episodes.
No way that Fennic is contacting Cad Bane. They were trying to kill each other when they were both going after Omega, and I feel like they both have too much pride/hubris to willingly work with one another unless they were both contracted for the same job or something.
Ideally I'd be able to watch a show without having to go in and fiddle with my TV settings in the middle of the episode. I'm wondering if this is more of a technical issue with HDR or with optimized settings for streaming. There is also quite a wide variance between viewing settings, I like to have dark contrast in blacks and don't have gamma set up to only go down to gray.
But, even with my darker settings, I've never had a problem seeing what's on the screen. In these scenes, I couldn't see much of anything. And I didn't want to go into my TV settings, I figured it was the usual fight stuff in an episode. But yes, it would be nice to have actually seen it.
@@btr3k I'm no expert in tv settings, but I fast & loose calibrated mine once after I got it and I have zero complaints when watching or playing anything. I wasn't exactly advocating that someone calibrate their tv for a particular show, not sure why you went off in that tangential direction. I suggested turning up the brightness, an extremely common and easily accessible option on most tvs, or changing the viewing setting such as dimming the lights in the room.
I don’t think it felt like a filler episode however, as this series draws to a close, I do wish some of the pacing was a little more focused on the story that is leading up to the conclusion which I’m going to miss the show
What if tech is the mystery clone hunter
I don't know why it was dark for you, it was fine on my end, where it was an enjoyable watch. Maybe check if the contrast levels are set appropriately for you.
The space station gave me Star Trek vibes. Otherwise loved the episode! I don’t have a problem with the so called “filler” episodes. Thanks for the review!
The problem is that these episodes (Even ahsoka is guilty of this) have barely any rewatchability. Who's going back and rewwtching "the bad batch go to the everglades?"
Can't wait for the clone uprising but I wish they stopped with the "high M count clone for Palpatine" storyline... Everytime I'm reminded of the sequels it pulls me out of the show.
It's not really Filoni's fault. Because the sequels were so badly butchered, he has to do what he can to try to clean up the mess.
I don’t care what you call it, it was bloody boring and yet again, we get that dreadful
formula of the Batch having to do some job to get something they need. I did look at my watch.
If m count is in the air then what it is is in the air too. Bounty hunter would not just hunt them down without knowing.
I wonder if we’ll get any Boba this season.
Ehh he’s a mediocre character I could live without him
After not watching, your poll made me redownload Disney plus and I’m happy I did. This show is a rare gem and I’m glad it’s going out on its own terms. You bet I’m unsubscribing once this thing is over!
Not yet.
You know, a very good question nobody’s purposed is why palpatine doesn’t just use his own DNA for cloning?
Clones don't have force powers. I'm sure Palpatine is using his own DNA but if the clones of him can't use the force then it's useless. He's trying to figure out a way to keep his access to the force when he transfers into a new body.
i thought the lighting was fine? maybe just me
The best thing about this episode was when Hunter told Omega that she couldn't go on the mission and then put his foot down by saying it wasn't open for debate. Otherwise, this was just another adventure of the week episode.
And Omega just isn't a believable character for me. How does she have all this insight and "wisdom" into human nature at such a young age after being raised on a place as sterile as Kamino? Most people don't gain that level of insight until they reach middle age...
I liked the B plot better too but i liked the cliff hanger
Imo, it'll be the, dinosaur lady.
Ah yes the most terrifying planet in the star wars universe. Florida
I struggled to see what happened during the dark scenes. So frustrating.
Asajj one of the M-count clones? So she can still be dead?
I'm waiting with bated breath to see how they justify bringing back Ventress. I can pretty much guarantee however they do it will make a lot of us mad and spit in the faces of the people who read the Dark Disciple novel.
Was I the only one who thought the whole episode was quiet? Every scene with fennec was awkwardly quiet almost like the VA"s had to whisper in every recording session.
The Jedi was probably not telling everyone how the force works. Nobody told Kathleen Rian JJ or even Filoni eighter as it seems
Filoni was taught by George so he clearly understands it
Hey Thor, did you realise that after 7 good episodes, we finally got a full woke disney girl boss episode.. 20min of Fennec pissing on hunter and wrecker lol.. they shouldve kidnapped her right in the cantina or followed her at least and take the information from her by force, or make a deal on their own terms.. the situation is URGENT.... they dont have time for all this, and potentially losing their lives in the proces lol.. at least, when they realised SHE NEEDS THEM for the thing, they shouldve said 50/50 on the bounty prize... and the end.. i dont even wanna comment.. not only that she didnt give them the info, she told them to go drink coffee somewhere basicly and TRUST HER TO SEND THEM THE INFO ONE DAY AHAHAH.. and they actually LET HER GO ahah.. and the cherry on top of it all.. SHE SNITCHED ON THEM... this episode made them look like the 2 most incompetent clones in the whole galaxy far far away.. whats going on
Dave Feloni never wraps up a show. So don't get your hopes up. He always leaves danglers.
Clone Wars season 7:
Why can't they just say midichorlians every once in a while? They're so scared to use the term.

Why does Disney keep adding mysterious hologram characters to these episodes.
Disney doesn't. Filoni does.
It is a classic method for building anticipation and tension in the audience for a visual medium.
Because building suspense is a good thing? And in Star Wars that’s an appropriate way to do it?
Have you heard of the term MacGuffin? it is something that serves as a plot device, creates intrigue and is used to move the story forward.
They could have just paid Fennec Shand with the credits that Omega won through gambling, instead of doing a filler mission.
That wouldn't fit Fennec's character. The Batch had previously opposed her (who was winning is up for debate), and now they came to her for information. She held the power over them and took full advantage of it.
I don't think she really wanted credits from them. That was just for form and reputation once she had an idea of what they wanted. But it made a good excuse to bring them along on the bounty hunt without her having to ask them for help and surrender control of the situation. We know she had developed a little bit of a soft spot towards Omega on the last encounter. Doing something that she reasonably deduced was for Omega's benefit while gaining a solid benefit for herself was an advantage she wouldn't pass up.
That would be trash solution. So now everytime when the bad batch needs credits Omega just wins them? That's lazy writing.
@@masteryoghurt2110 What’s lazy writing is creating a filler episode.
@@Enigma75614 It wasn't a filler.
@@masteryoghurt2110 The whole episode could have been avoided if they brought the credits. It was a waste of time.
I don't get the M-count mystery. All fans know what is it. AZI as a laboratory droid should know. Obi-Wan was able to check Anakin's M-count on a random ship in the middle of a dessert 😂
And qui gon was explaining midiclorians infront of people.. it was never presented to us like its a secret or something.. untill now. But nevermind all that, its always stupid and boring to watch our heroes struggle to find out something that we, the audience, already know what it is. AND WHAT DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE INFO ANYWAY LOL ITS OBVIOUSLY A NUMBER OF SOMETHING IN OMEGAS BLOOD HAHAH.. and what are they supposed to do once they find out what it is, nothing that can change the fact that she has a bounty on her head .. are they gonna extract the midichlorians from her so she isnt usable to the empire or something ahah , the whole premise is confusing af if u think about it for 1 sec
