I like where this is going but to make it a feasible project can you make a mold of cheese and yellow resin and make it look like you turned shredded cheese? You got this pal
Yeah, if he just casts a block of yellow resin and hits it with the right tools before it's 100% solid he would end up with what would look like shredded cheese but without any of the odd aging and discoloration issues. Hell if the timing is right it will have the consistency of cheese and he could even use a cheese grater to shred it. Has peter tried messing around with large bowls of resin before they are totally cured?
The color change was such a surprise. Making a heart out of shredded cds and resin would look pretty with how the strips of the cds make this flowing motion.
I'd love to see him actually sort out the pieces and make a heart out of the shattered bits, layering it up a few layers thick alternating between resin and pieces.

No cause it turned red just from adding resin to it
@@reinkdesigns well maybe it was a chemical reaction with the resin instead of a thermal one or I could be the way the resin refracts the light too
It turns red because of the aluminium in the cd oxidizing. Same reason rubies are red or aluminium oxide sand paper is reddish.
