In traditional Chinese culture, people eat round sticky rice balls(kinda like mochi) on the lantern festival to represent the reunion of a family, which stick together. but like the people in Qingce village and the people who work overtime in Liyue harbor, sometimes it really isn't that easy to gather together. Lantern festival takes place on 1/15 of the Chinese calender. On this day, people set up food stalls and all kinds of entertainment (ex: lantern riddles,dragon and lion dance). This part became Liyue harbor during the lantern rite Festival. Long story short, I love this event as well.
