A log book sounded like a lot of work, BUT, to look for trends, etc., I may start doing it. Thx for sharing!

You had a great year. I’m more of a power fisherman and live bait soaker, but you’re bringing me (and no doubt other people) around with your techniques. I went so far as to get two packs of those “fuzzy dice” lures from Tackle Warehouse. 2025 is The Year of Finesse! Fish on Chris!

It contradicts how I fish in my videos but I prefer power fishing lol which in cold temps, that reel/twitch technique could be considered power finesse maybe? 😂

My fishing truck kind of looks like your 4-Runner on the inside🤣 I had to do a clean/organize too. Very cool to see your logbook and how you do your record keeping.

Very interesting Chris. A lot of data that can be useful in the future. And I don't get too mad when I get a largemouth with a crappie jig😊 Thanks for the video.

Organization and documentation is the key to success. I just picked up my log book myself thank you for the great ideas Chris.

I’m gonna do that for 2025. I’m always curious as to how many fish I catch in a year. You did good!

It’s easy. Just keep a note pad with you or do like I do. Take a picture of each fish then write down how many species and how many of each species.

Chris did you happen to see any common results at certain locations from yar to year in your logs. I very interested in seeing if you did. I like the concept of the log, and it seems that it could possibly make me a more efficient angler if there were similarities during times of year or temperatures and scenarios like that. What are your thoughts?

2024 was kinda “off” because of finding new spots but I generally get the same results at roughly the same time of year. Summer/spring are consistently my hardest times of year.
