    I am glad that you tried the Design Essentials mousse. I love it and it is the only mousse that I am currently using. I could definitely tell the difference in your hair. Thanks for the video.

    The Design Essentials Almond and Avocado is my favorite mousse hands down (and I've tried it up against Nairobi, Mousse Def and Camille Rose Honey mousse).

    Literally just used the Almond and Avocado for my twist out early this week. It's great and no residue or product build-up! Love it! I think I may actually try a wash and go now!

    I've cut my hair completely off in 2021- and have gotten my hair trimmed 3x's and my natural twists are down to my shoulders - however I use the complete line of "Design Essentials!" And I love this product line!

    The design essentials side looks great, however you certainly have the Nairobi has been giving you life with many of the other videos, might try the DE! Thanks for this series

    Thanks for this video your hair looks good on both sides. I do think your hair looks shinier and softer on the DE side.. I recently purchased the Design Essentials Mousse at Marshalls but haven't used it yet. Based on your results and your subscribers comments, I made a good choice. I look forward to seeing the next hair battle video.

    Love the results on both but the DE side did look more hydrated after days. You’ve convinced me to start back trying foams. I’m going to try a hair milk under next time as well. Have you tried the Camille Rose foam?

    The Design essentials came out awesome.
    Can I suggest another battle of the foams. Hawaiian Silky Triple Butter Hydrate and Define Curl Whip foaming mouse. I saw this in my beauty supply store and wondering how well it will work compared to some of the more popular brands.

    So glad to see you tried the design essentials :). Honestly I feel like that anf Nairobi are like neck and neck in general they are my go to mouse. I JUST tried the mielle organic mouse yesterday and girllllll. I would put that on the list of good mouse

    I’ve been watching your twist out videos and just have one question! At what step do you add the silicone serum? Before the mousse? To each big section or each twist?

      I think she adds it when she's done twisting, at least it's what I do.

      Yep, I apply the serum as the last step after using my stylers

      @@ALove4Me so I am totally confused and may not understand the purpose of the moose, yeah I know that's not how you spell it but anyway that serum is used on the hair last and then you twist or you twist it first and apply the serum?

    Design Essentials had the better results for sure! Even though on a small level, I thought there was more frizz on the other side.

    I love these battles! Before I go buy the Design Essentials mousse, can you compare the spiked honey mousse from Camille Rose? I already have it, lol. I search your videos but couldn't find a demo video on that product.

    Haha. I had the DE mousse but gave it away, as I wasn’t into mousses 2 years ago.
    Now I just bought the Nairobi mousse. I will sea how it goes.
    Have you ever thought of using hair spray for hold?
    I checked on RUclips and didn’t see much reviews on that for natural hair. I was just wondering if it works.

      @@ALove4Me I honestly feel like the Manuka Honey & Mafura one is really good. I love the hold, definition, and moisture. The Manuka Honey and yogurt one seems to be extremely lightweight and I find it a bit drying. Neither one mentions use for a wash and go but I was able to achieve one with both and I have type 4 hair. They mention up do’s, braids, and rod sets I believe. The new Design Essentials one is supposed to be strengthening and curl perfecting which makes me think it’s okay for a wash and go. I haven’t used it yet, but just purchased it. I love your mousse wash and go videos! 💕

    I agree that DE is better results I’ve used both foams and the DE foam is the winner in terms of softness & hold for up to a week.

    It's interesting because the design essentials mousse is technically made to use for wash n gos, not twistouts.

    I also watched Keep Sweet, and Omg!!! Those recordings were sooooo disturbing, I can't unhear it and I wish I could. Both sides look great but I think the design essentials side looks better

    The design essentials mousse formula has since changed. It was my favorite but the new formula is not the same which sucks.

    The design essentials side wins. I'm not mad at the Nairobi side either. I just bought Nairobi and I'm using it next wash day. I will revisit the design essentials once I whittle down my mousse stash.
