Slayer have always nailed design aesthetics, they are always the best looking machines on the market. I doubt it will be 15K here though, that's what their single groups with the needle valve cost.

Looks like Slayer will prepare very good coffee machine, nice looking (not so old-fashioned like La Marzocco GS3) and most important for me with built in water tank. As La Cimballi said (owner of Slayer) price seems to be very competitive (in USA most probably just below 10k $).

List price = $9850 (USD) not $7K (from Slayer)

just speaking for myself, after owning a slew of tank machines (cremina, la pavoni, simonelli, brasilia, saeco, etc) i couldn't wait to install the gaggia commercial plumbed in machine in kitchen. was too big so changed to a 220v spaziale s1 vivaldi no tank. likely for 10k usd owners of a slayer have no problem plumbing it in and would likely have it setup up for same prior to receiving it. they also might have 220 volts setup as these machines run better on that. i also had 220 volt installed in kitchen for gaggia.

Not sure I’d want to park that much cash in Slayer equipment which still feels like a start-up company. The single group appears to be excessively complex too so I’d be concerned about reliability compared to the likes of La Marzocco.

It probably isn't fair to compare the two but I totally get it. One is like a Mercedes and the other is a Rolls Royce. The thing that really pushes the price up is that they are completely hand built by a single engineer but that also means they are perfectly made.

@@Rydecoffeecoach Very little online about the Slayer factory. Are you saying one person(engineer) is building every Steam? Even La Marzocco (lots of factory tour videos) uses some automation and does not seem like a single person is building any one model. La Marzocco does have people different from the assemblers that check and test for QC after each unit is built. Hand built by a single engineer is not synonymous with "perfect" in the same way an airliner has a pilot and copilot and an operating theatre senior surgeon, junior surgeon, assistants, nurses, people counting instruments pre and post op as well as an anesthesiologist.

@@s96822 I filmed and engineer put an entire two group Slayer together over four days once. It was quite incredible.

don't need silly Simpson memes; stick to to your good content. Annoying when video is interrupted.

Interesting point. I actually thought I wasn't interesting enough and thought I'd be better to add the Simpson parts in. So you prefer just the straight forward vids?
