The story of the El Cazador is fascinating. To think if that ship made it to port it would have changed world history. I have a 2 Reales from the El Cazador myself and will be looking to add the famous pieces of Eight to my collection someday. Nice ASE gift, that was very nice of Kasey. Great video, loved listening!

Thank you brother! I don’t think I mentioned that on board was also about the same amount of other denominations as well. Obviously your 2 reales was part of that group. Pretty cool indeed!

Right!!!!!! 209 years to be exact! Amazing something like that could survive with all the currents, sea life, temperature, water etc etc. Pretty cool indeed. Thanks for watching Frank!

Really enjoyable, informative vid. You explained the apparent consequences of the sinking well, kinda scary how life takes its turns! Your effort is appreciated. Congrats on the shipwreck coin. Such a neat history.

Congrats on the pickup. Very cool history of the shipwreck and coins. It’s almost like a Twilight Zone episode. What might have been if these had made it to destination. Crazy to think about 🤔Cool story about the ASE 🇺🇸 🫡 Thank you for your service, Brother.

Thank you bro! Ya really gnarly how certain events shaped our world. Heck we may have not had a New Orleans to party at! Instead we’d all be eating tacos and drinking Coronas in that port instead of po boys and daiquiris! Haha

Such a cool history on those. The world would be a different place if the Cazador had made it there. This directly affected the territory of the US forever. Great find my friend. I'm happy you have one now!

Incredible piece of history here brother. Nice pickup!
How was the show overall? Sounds like you may have not been able to find many good deals

Yooo! Long time no hear! Was wondering what the heck. Figured work picked up and you have been busy. Anyway, about the show. It’s a mid size one, about 40-50 dealers. The quality isn’t top notch either like some of the bigger shows. Tons of common Morgan’s etc. yes bro prices were STEEP. I went 3 years ago and was able to get common UNC raw Morgan’s for like 27-40 bucks. Now most are 75-100. I mean it mimics the market but damn, hardly any deals per se. This one I feel was fair. Considering no taxes and shipping I paid about the same on the bay. Thanks for watching keep in touch

Have one that received a XF40 grade. This America's first pre mint silver dollar, people were still using it as payment until 1857.There are counterfeit ones, so beware.

@@silversurfer1986 Yes, had this ship not of sunk? The Louisiana Purchase might have never happened? This coin is under appreciated and under valued.
