Last year I put Shwalbe Marathon touring tires on my '98 M50 so I could ride the paved rail trails in my area a little easier. Really enjoying riding it! Glad to see you putting another one back in service. Been a good one to me.
I’m from Orlando and for whatever reason, Raleigh just doesn’t sell here. Sucks as they aren’t really that bad and have just as much potential as say a Specialized Hardrock or a Trek 3500. Same standard sizes so I’m not sure why they don’t sell here. I could put better wheels and an upgraded 1x10 drivetrain with a wider bar and short stem and I’m not sure if I’d get $100.
Thanks for watching. Just about anything priced around $120 a $150 that’s in good condition sells. I’m not going to get rich doing this but it sure is fun.
I'm looking at clean M50 right now. Thanks for showing the detail on the bottom bracket.
Thank you, and thanks for watching!!
A very tidy bike with many years faithful service left in it! Watching from the home of the Raleigh... England!
Thanks for watching!!
I just bought one in almost new condition. All it needs are new handgrips, that’s it. I love the old school mountain bikes.
Thanks for watching!!
You were very lucky with that bottom-bracket. I've NEVER had one come off easy!!
That was one of the easiest ones I’ve ever removed. Thanks for watching!!
What a great video you rock brother!

ive only seen that type of front derailer hanger once. it was on a cannondale 20" kids mtb
Thanks for watching. Thats interesting...
It's an e type derailer. Don't know what that means but I pulled one off a MOTIVE bike.
Thanks for the info and thanks for Watching!!!!
Well done ✅
Thanks for watching!!
Do you not have a problem with the chain skipping when u put a new chain on a worn cassette? Its always been a problem for me buddy
Thanks for watching! If the cassette is worn you will have that issue. Normally I use 1 cassette to every 2 or 3 chains.
