Excellent, would like to know how far up from the bottom you start your embroidery placement.

Excellent video with so many tips. Thank you! I’m new to all of this and have a stack of kitchen towels just waiting for me to get the courage to start embroidering them for gifts. My only question is: is there something I need to do to cover up or protect the back side of the embroidery design on a towel?

Good question! You should use stabilizer on the back of the towel too. Either a tear away or better yet a water solvable one. There is no need to cover the back side of the embroidery other than that.

I was told to always soak my finished projects in a wash basin and discard the water outside. Then toss the washer. They said the wash away stabilizer can build-up in your machine ans cause damage. You can also keep the water with the liquid containing stabilizer to spray onto projects like stand up lace to stiffen the stand up lace. Since this is a project that will not be washed [nce completed.
