i believe yi long won the 1st round and the rest to buakaw. still a very close fight but i agree with the decision. i can't understand a word they're saying though
Yi Long has a charging style which at first surprised Buakaw. He also stand sideways not squared up so teeps were not effective to stop him. I guess Long's strategy was to enter boxing range right away and not to give Buakow time to calibrate kicking. Buakow adjusted very quickly by throwing left knees to the body. You can see Long stopped throwing right hand for while just to protect his liver and ribs. From there Buakow established his game. But 9:10 was a dangerous moment. Kudos to Long for hangin there and making things dirty.

That was a great fight, and a very fair ruling. I feel Buakaw was surprised at the ruling, he probably felt he, as the "farang" would lose even though he clearly showed superior skill. What a great show of respect between both fighters at the end too. Very nice 👌

Kick boxing match is not that fun to watch since you don't see elbows and clinches. If elbow is allowed then he'd at least have a couple of cuts on his face since his reaction speed is kinda low.

I saw it as a draw. Li confounded Buakaw. I saw neither really get hurt, but that backhand was about 8" up the arm or that could have been a lot worse. These guys amaze me!
